Junkyard

The story is rhyming, the graphics are bright, the monster machines are so environmentally conscious - it's a great book. The grandkids want it read to them 2 -3 x a day!!

Great plot! Fun book about 2 robots who clean up a junk yard and terraform it into a park. My 2yo son loves it. Also helped with dinner time when we pretend to be robots eating "junk".

We have his (Mike Austin's) other books and this is definitely a favorite already. Same bright colors as his others, awesome pictures and story line. My husband reads this with a robot voice for added excitement. Definitely goes with this book.I highly recommend this book. Buy it and enjoy along with your child as they react to these 2 robots silly ways to some kindhearted deeds.

I purchased this book on a whim, and mostly because my two and a half year old loves robots. He was immediately drawn into the story and loves to look at the details in the drawings and pointing out objects he finds in the "junk". It is currently one of his favorite books. Even young children can appreciate the basic concept of cleaning up junk to make a better and more beautiful space to play in!

This was purchased as a gift, but I think I will be adding it to my boys collection as well. Such a cute story! Loved the hard cover and that it had the paper jacket as well.
