Although I haven’t started my seeds quite yet, I did put these together and made sure they work. They seem sturdy and the lights worked. I am excited to get my garden started.

This is a great little seed starter with the ability to open and close for air to come through. All the lights work and give off good light. These are small enough that I can fit them between gaps next to my larger trays and still have long cords for the lights to work.

I wasn’t sure about these cell trays. I am using them for starting seeds and at first to be honest and I bought too many so I did a return and then as life would have it….I am rebuying them because I won’t start seeds without them now. Here’s my experience.1. I am new to seed starting and gardening. After watching a lot of online videos, I tried other seed starting cells….but I Love Love Love these with the individual cells/trays/domes. I am starting seeds in the storage room of my lower level using wire shelves, heat mats and LED shop lights and I am all about keeping things easy and enjoyable.2. When you have a normal 6 cell (compartment) it is recommended to put two seeds in a cell just in case one doesn’t take. I use this 12 tray so I don’t have to separate them later :) easy.3. These small self contained starter trays eliminate the worry of germination time. I can plant groups of seeds and adjust their environment on a smaller scale instead of those large 10x20 pans. Plants are super happy.4. I use less seed starter mix.5. I can tailor watering needs to the needs of these individual trays since they come with their own water retention tray, this eliminates overwatering of companion cells in larger trays. It also makes sure all areas are watered since my shelves aren’t level. (Larger flats 10x20 can have dry spots if the shelves aren’t level. Easy6. They take up less space until I am ready to pot-up. So they fit on heat mats and under lights perfectly.7. They are super strong and durable. Wash and reuse! Easy8. I can see the root growth of the seedlings, super helpful to know when to replant/transplant/pot-up. Easy9. The clear tray also lets me monitor the water absorption of the seeds…I can easily dump out the excess water if I need to or add more if I need to. Easy. (Don’t have to dump a 10x20 tray after removing all the cells…not easy)10. The vent holes are perfect for allowing some moisture to escape. Super helpful when I started lettuce since they don’t like the heat too much, but I closed them to germinate peppers, and everything else that likes it warm and cozy. Easy12. Every plant I started in these, potted-up (transplanted to larger pots or cells )nicely. (Tip: buy seeds from a reputable online company… amazon has nice choices.13. These starter trays have made my seed starting experience amazing and bountiful!You will see in the pics I planted on the 11th of January, not sure if I would kill things (maybe planted too soon) but the transplants look great and are going strong 11 days out! Love the trays, you won’t be sorry if you choose these in my opinion they are versatile and easy for me to accommodate the needs of the seeds.A happy girl playing in the dirt :)

We like the tray BUT the lights that come with it have no specs or instructions sowing what type/wattage usb plug to use with them. I used an old iPhone 0.5amp charge block which the lights burned out within 10 minutes. I have ordered a higher wattage one to try next but it would be nice to know what is needed to power the lights without having to guess and burn up good charging blocks. It would be nice if I could get reimbursed for a charge block since the lights burned mine up.

These are exactly what I was looking for to start some houseplants from seeds. Shipped quickly, packaged securely, arrived safely. Super easy to put together and use. They even have adjustable vents on top. Absolutely perfect for my needs. Five stars.

A bit cheap looking. Plastic not fantastic but well designed. Quite expensive. In my area would’ve been cheaper to go to a “dollar store”.

These are small, compact, and we had good success sprouting most seeds.As noted in the headline, getting the seeds out in the a bit tricky. We use the small piece of stiff plastic twice as wide as one of the seed holders and bent it is 90° angle through the middle, and slid the angle down one of the corners and use that to wiggle the seedling out.A tiny scoop of some kind might work.The problems make more difficult because the base of the planter that holds a seedlings is incredibly flexible so you need to leave it inside the main housing while you do this and of course by tipping it which you end up having to do you take the risk of dumping a bunch of loose seedlings out.To be fair, good value for the money and if you have the patience with the transplanting process, you should have a higher level of success with the usual monitoring the moisture and the like.Despite the four-star rating I did buy a second second set.

The base and lid are made of good quality plastic,also the vents are sturdy,I liked them and have many seedlings doing well in them

Two of the tops didn't fit so I messaged them and they didn't hesitate to help me ! The product itself is amazing I just got 2 faulty ones is all ! Will definitely purchase again.
