Miquelrius Soft Bound Medium Journal, 300 Sheets/600 Graph Pages, Black

I order these to use as writing journals. I specifically use gel ink pens - Pentel 0.3mm or 0.4mm Arts pens - to write notes and to draw. This paper holds up long-term and the binding lets you curl, roll, bend, and abuse the journal without damaging the interior. Mine have laid mostly flat (i've got through 2 over 4 years). I've been afraid a few times that I've broken the spine, but ... nope. It's held together. People always mistake it for a Bible :D I highly recommend these if you want something that will hold together well, feels like a book instead of a spiral bound notebook, and has a TON of pages.

This is one of my favorite all-time products. They are very sturdy, and incredibly economical. I've used them for journals for twenty years now. They come in different colors, I like the green and blue ones. Also red. Please note that these have grid paper. I want that, being an engineer. If that's what you want these are marvelous. This one is about my 16th over the years. If you own them a long time they will finally start cracking sometimes around the binder, but not if you use them properly.

Get them at Barnes and noble, these are incredibly overpriced. They are $10 every day of the week and they run coupons all the time. Even the manufacturer charges less than half of the price here. But as far as the book itself goes, it's great. I have 27 of them 😁 yeah. 1 for daily use and 26 on backup (exact number that fit on my this end up shelf) As far as I'm concerned it's the last notebook I'll ever need and I bought more than enough to get me from my ADN degree to Nurse Practitioner. And all of them cost less than taking my boards 😊 The first 182 pages were all that was needed to get me through all of medsurg 3. I really wish I had stumbled on these prior to my last class of Nursing school. Set it up as a book with a "Omnidex" in the front and a "microdex" for each system related subsection and cross link the info with an infinity sign and the pg number with a rectangle around it and it'll be the best study resource you've ever had (this from a person who used to take his MacBook to every class...) Also the lihit lab smart fit cover fits it perfectly.

I keep this journal with me all the time, writing in it constantly... happenings, thoughts, ideas, diagrams, to-do's... Perfect size for sticking in a purse or bag. Opens flat for the most part and can write across pages. Cover is flexible and so I can fold it back making writing easier. Grid is small and light grey which is unintrusive. Paper surface is smooth and takes pen and pencil well. I will be buying more of these.

2020 update: This notebook does not hold up to time well at all. The cover is far too flimsy for any longevity that’s more then just sitting on a shelf. Original review: To confirm other reviews, yes you can get this as B&N for $10 (or around that price). But for me, I'm spending that extra $8 in gas just to get to the store. And since I'm trying the amazon prime trial, shipping is free. So if I'm going to spend $18 on this journal one way or another, I'll spend it through amazon. That being said, I love it! The paper is very smooth and can handle my Sharpie Pens and my Papermate Flair M pens, which a lot of my other journals couldn't handle. (If you write hard, go over your lines, or leave the pen in the same spot it'll bleed through almost every paper I've encountered.) The binding seems durable and would only seem to crack if you were to try to force the pages flat, though I'm not that far into it so I'll update if I have issues. My only complaint is how thin the covers are. 300 pages, and flimsy covers like these? Guess I'll have to buy a journal cover to protect it. Overall, it's worth it. I plan to buy more to stock up.

I absolutely LOVE these notebooks! I've never been able to find a planner that has everything that I would like, so I a year ago I picked one of these up from Barnes & Nobles to use as a bullet journal. Like I said, it has been a year and I've hardly filled half the book. And that's with a calendar for the year, each month, and each week, plus several charts and lists for various projects. These notebooks are surprisingly sturdy and compact. Even the paper holds up an amazing amount. On two of the pages, I drew and erased (drew and erased, and drew and erased again and again) a design for a crochet project I was working on and the paper held up long past the point other papers would have worn away. I was really surprised. These are great for organizing information such as lists and charts, but especially anything where each section has to be the same, such as calendars. I recently bought a second of these notebooks to use as a reading notebook. I have a "form", I guess you could call it, for each book so I can keep information on the author, background info on the book, a list of characters, their traits & arcs, themes & motifs, and then any important quotes. But these are the kind of things this book is good for: lists, charts, and organizing information. Now I'm thinking of getting a third one to keep mythology and folklore studies in. The possibilities really are endless with these notebooks.

I love everything about this notebook except the binding. I knew that it was glued and not stitched but I expected it to hold together for longer than a few days. Granted, I used it heavily during those days as I was setting up my new bullet journal for the year (collections, doodles, etc). The glued pages began to pull away from the binding. For the price, paper quantity, and paper quality, this is a great notebook. I even liked the look of the cover and looked forward to using it for the year. If you are willing/able to strengthen the binding with glue or a book cover, I think it is worth the investment. I realized that a stitched binding is what I personally need.

I love this journal, it's perfect for my intentions (stats class) and exactly as pictured. It's size is a bit smaller than it comes off from the picture, about the size of a novel. The black exterior tends to get dirty quick and show fingerprints, but still feels very high quality. This is the notebook one would get to do research, take notes or devise a lesson plan; the grids make it perfect for writing of any kind to stay precise and organized.
