I started this product about 4 weeks ago after experiencing an onset of stress related and hormone tied breakouts. After my first wash I noticed that my combination skin felt refreshed, lighter and the perfect balance of clean. My skin did not dry out as it has with many other products. The wash actually calmed the ezcema patch on my chin. Once I towel dried my face I added moisturizer and found that it left my face feeling balanced and hydrated. I didn’t have the issue of my skin being extra oily or taking a long time to absorb the cream. This is for sure my go to face wash and moisturizer now. It works great for calming breakouts, hydrating skin and has a wonderful soft scent to it.

This is one of the best face washes I have come across for sensitive skin. I ran out and couldn't find it, so I tried another that was supposed to be gentle, but now I have an entire bottle of that to get rid of. I was thrilled to be able to find this again on Amazon.

The texture, effectiveness and scent are great! Only gave 4 stars because I have noticed if I use too much of it or leave it on for a bit too long, my skin is somewhat dried out shortly after washing. This also could be due to the city water, but I am not for certain. Otherwise it’s well worth the price! Will be continuing to use it.

The formula is super effective yet gentle. The one struggle I've had with Romer is that I tend to finish the products at different rates and then need to order them one-off, thus paying shipping each time. I’ve used olive oil soap on my face for a long time, but my skin seems to get more dry with each passing year. I thought I’d try something different—this gel oil cleanser is advertised to lock in moisture—just what I need, especially during winter weather. Unfortunately, it leaves my face with a sticky feel that requires much more rinsing and actually makes my face drier than usual. I follow up a face wash with an oil moisturizer, so that helps a bit. Even so, I’m returning to what works best for me—a simple bar of pure olive oil soap. This cleanser may be more effective on younger skin with different needs, but it doesn’t do much at all for middle-aged, dry skin like mine.

I like this cleanser. It removes makeup and cleanses skin in just 1 step, gently without making skin dry, but does the job very well!

Very moisturizing and my skin feels super clean at the same time. I LOVE it! I rarely re-purchase the same cleanser however I will re-purchase this one.
