Shadowplaynyc Midnight in Paris Scarf

I'm mixed on this scarf. First- clearly it is gorgeous and it is sizable enough to be able to wrap nicely in a number of configurations. I took on a recent trip, however, and despite some careful handling it just didn't survive the trip. It is made out of an extremely lightweight fabric that feels like closely-woven fine cheesecloth. It is a pleasant enough texture and feels a a little like cotton, but the fabric is so fine and delicate that it is extremely easy to snag. And once it snags on something - anything - it gets a long and unpleasant rippling effect (so it doesn't just create a small snag but the snag pulls the fabric across the scarf. It is only printed on one side but the fabric's sheerness means that that doesn't really impact the look.All in all, I definitely wouldn't have purchased it if I'd known how fragile it would be. But, since I have it, it is quite beautiful. I just expected a bit more at this price point. If you buy this you might consider always storing it in a bag of some sort and never putting it anywhere unless it is in that storage bag (so if you're going out don't stick the scarf in your purse, put it in a storage bag in your purse).Wish I could give a 5* review because it is beautiful!
