I am instantly a Bugani believer
Was looking for a bluetooth speaker that produces enough sound to play a small party, or take outdoors. Wanted to wade into the water and not spend a lot of money.I found myself reading endless reviews, and looking at a lot of price points. Ordered this one after seeing a coupon and reading so many reviews that commented on the value of this unit. There were, of course, dissenters that say there is no battery gauge and that the bass response was not as good as "this" model or the lack of tweeters made it inferior to "that" model. And you can't pair it with another speaker. All of which could be true. But the second I pulled it out of the box and fired it up, any reservations or negative thoughts I had about this purchase quickly vanished. You can feel the quality of the build. Solid and well designed. It looks and feels like a speaker that costs a lot more then I paid.It paired with my iphone quickly and I was blow away by the sound. Clean and crisp, no distortion or rattling at high volume. And it does kick out the tunes. Easily loud enough to play a small party and get folks dancing.I am not sure how the sound rates against the "best in the industry", but I really don't care. Plain and simple, this speaker is an AMAZING BARGAIN. Looks great. Sounds great. Gets loud. I am incredibly impressed with the quality for the price point.Haven't used the phone charger or mic input yet. And not sure about battery life because I just got it.But from what have seen so far, it is a no-brainer. If your considering this unit, go for it. You won't be disappointed.

STILL BOOMING ON THE 9TH ISLAND!!
ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS “BEST BLUETOOTH RADIO!” THE SOUND QUALITY IS CLEAR! THE BASS THAT THIS PUTS OUT IS UNREAL! PLUS, I LIKE THE FACT THAT IT SHUTS OFF AUTOMATICALLY IF NO MUSIC IS BEING PLAYED. AND THE BATTERY LIFE IS GREAT! I STILL HAVE & USE IT THIS VERY DAY WITH NO PROBLEMS!!

BUY THIS OVER the M83, similar prices, this is way better built and sounding
SO, I am still on the hunt for YARD WORK speakers. This sadly doesn't cut it. BUT it sounds great, gets loud, and is a great, in the garage speaker. BUT fails the lawnmower test, as long as I'm not mowing the lawn, it's decently loud.So... Let's Compare this with the M83 also made by this company. It's literally better in EVERY WAY, no comparison, there done.Build quality:While plastic heavy like the 83, this has METAL grills on it, and has good weight to it. The 83 feels hollow and acoustically that should be great, it's not.Sound:Not only does this have a metal grill compared to the plastic on the 83, it is also a lot further away from the speaker's diaphragm. The 83's speakers butt up to the plastic wobbly grill thus causing a buzzing sound. The 118 not only has a sturdier less prone to rattle grill, the grill's a good inch from the drivers. Giving the speakers room to move. Now that's not to say that these sound amazing. And I'm a bit ignorant on sound engineering to speak as an authority on it. BUT, what I can tell you is that drums sound off on this guy. Dull sounding, and few speakers can really handle drums, especially in this price range. THOUGH, with that said, sounds better than what you pay for it.I have many of these class of speakers The LG PK7, the Mifa F60 (personal favorite, sorry, tiny only 40Ws but better sound and due to smaller size can put it closer to my ears on the mower on the handle bar), WKING and these two. This falls behind the MIFA and WKING. As I said the Mifa for its size spits out comparable volume in half the space with the ability to reproduce ROCK drums pretty well. WKING loses in the sound department but has a strap instead of a fixed handle, which is better. THOUGH it's a close tie.WARNING:This warning is something I've only been recently able to piece together after ruminating on it, this speaker is black, the PK7 is black, the MIFA F60 is black and one of my WKING is black. Black gets hotter in the sun, and all of these use NEODYMIUM drivers, NEODYMIUM gets weaker the hotter it gets and it doesn't take much heat to hurt them. North of 100F and you're losing sound quality. SO, if you're using this for yard work, best to have this situated in a shaded area. Not only will heat affect sound quality but battery life as well. So... annoyingly, you kind of have to baby them. AGAIN, this isn't just these speakers either, it's all speakers that use NEODYMIUM drivers. Conclusion:One of the more annoying things with this speaker is the ever changing price points and lack of TWS. So you can't pair two speakers together. Which I didn't know was a thing I wanted until I played with it on the WKING. If you want this speaker get it when it's $50 or less. $80 is kind of pushing it which was the original price I paid, then Lightning deals happened and dropped it to $50 and now it's down to $40 two days later. Don't buy it for amazing sound quality, but it's good sound quality great size means it's a great backyard speaker that will fill most backyards easily. I don't regret buying it and think it's a good purchase.

It's good so far
If you are looking for a budget BT speaker that's loud this one checked a lot of boxes for me.1. it's inexpensive - $60 full price is good but it drops (in my case 20% coupon)2. It's IPX7 water resistant. I haven't tested that but it's rating is higher than the offering from w-king (the closest competitor at this time)3. It's loud, at max vol it is painful up close.4. Playing at about 85% volume for about 90 min and my phone reported 80% battery life remaining on the speaker.5. for me I hate treble so the lack of tweeters is not a problem. 2x25w 4" speakers to me is better than 2x20w speakers and 2x5w tweeters. Even without tweeters the highs were bright enough that I cut them down with my EQ.Some trade offs - instead of a rear bass radiator the m118 has a bass radiator on each side (similar design to JBL so the design is proven). This makes placement against a flat wall less bassy than a corner. Indoor in a corner this thing makes serious bass for it's size. Outdoors in an open space it's still adequately loud but placed in a corner produces significantly more bass.Cons so far:1. No multi speaker pairing. but there are workarounds, I have successfully used bluetooth splitters to do multi-speaker pairing. For the money saved on the speaker you can get a bluetooth splitter that will work with unlike speakers. I think most people just want a single speaker that would take the place of 2x 20w speakers.2. It claims to have fast charging, that is not the same as Qualcom's quick charge, it will simply take a 2amp charge via USB-C. If it's a legit 10,000mah battery then a 10w charger will take appx 5 hours to go from 0 to 100%.3. It's bulky but that should be expected. So far I haven't had any trouble with it beyond my limited use, it plays at max volume with much less distortion than many of my other speakers. I think most people would be pleased with the sound, I am.
