Bought for my daughter's first waitressing job. Thick, tough, quality material. Seams sewn tightly. Ties sewn firmly.She loves it. As a former bartender, who has gone through many aprons, I can tell this is a great quality apron thatshould last a long time. Deep rich very jet black. Not that cheap looking grayish black or medium black color.Initially she was concerned that it was too 'long'. That it would hang down too far on her thighs and not "look cool".She is 5'7", medium framed, her waist at the normal area on her body, and the bottom of the apron hits her just a shadebelow her crotch area. (Sorry about the "too much information"). The pockets are large and deep so her order pad and pensdon't fall out or stick up so much they poke her in the stomach if she bends over. And on occasion, depending on how sheflips down the top a bit then ties it, she can make it hit her higher up on her body. But she rarely does that.She loves it the way it is.Highly recommend.UPDATE JULY 15, 2012:Have washed this apron numerous times and it is still a deep black. No fading. Also, no fray's, strings or tears. Holdingup extremely well. Still looks like it came out of the package yesterday. Would buy this apron before any other! Excellent.UPDATE MAY 24, 2014STILL going strong. Looks like new. Still jet black, not faded. No frays or holes or pulled strings hanging all over. UNREAL!Wish electronics were made this well!

I am a "veteran server" and blessed to work in an old school (more than 4 tables), fast paced, high volume cafe. I am the pickiest when it comes to my tools! (my apron) I NEED three pockets and they need to be big! Many pens in one, my book in the center, and a whole lot of cash in the third.Too many aprons anymore have these pathetic sized pockets and I don't have time to gently fit my rather large hands into each one as everything I do is fast. It is obvious the fabric is durable and the stitching built to last, at 45 years old I wouldn't be surprised if they outlast me. :)Super happy to now have multiple clean aprons available coming into the busy season. If you are a serious server in an environment where speed and convenience makes or brakes your career, this IS the apron for you.

My husband is a custodian for the county school system. Recently they went to uniform polo shirts that have no pockets. My husband needs a purse! But since he doesn't carry one I suggested the waist apron that waiters use. He was willing to give it a try and he really likes it. It does the job. He carries his cell phone, pen, 2 or 3 pairs of eyeglasses and whatever else a person would carry in a man-purse. He hasn't made any complaints about the waist apron coming apart so everything must be hunky-dory.

I purchased these aprons to use not as a server but to sell raffle tickets and they work GREAT!They hold the cash and raffle tickets with ease plus if we use credit cards that night we have an extra pocket to store a smart phone for square.They have made it through 5 major events and the workers who use them look professional and have had zero problems. I have been very happy with this purchase and would make it again.ZS

They do the job and they’re durable.

This apron was full of promise, seeming well-constructed of good fabric. However, it only lasted a couple of months before the stitching between the pockets gave out. Aprons are treated roughly just by the nature of their use, so stitching between pockets should be much more than a single stitch! I guess it didn't owe me anything, but I'd expect an apron to last longer than this one did.

I bought these aprons because I am a special education teacher and some outfits I wear to school do not have pockets. These are great to have to hold pencils, pens, stickers, treats, keys, cell phone, etc. Each adult working in our school I have bought an apron for loves them!!!

As advertised. A good product. The only thing my wife mentioned about them is the lack of a smaller pocket at one end to keep the pens after writing an order. She's used to it with the others that she has from a different manufacturer. No big deal but it'd be nice if they had the extra pocket even though it would make the end pocket a little narrower than the other two.
