As foolproof as it gets, do not understand the complaints.
Yes, it's a little pricey. But your S21 ultra cost north of a thousand dollars. If you can't rationalize another fifty for a good tempered glass screen and utterly foolproof install (come on, we ALL hate installing screen protectors) that also works with the fingerprint sensor just fine, then maybe you shouldn't have bought the thousand dollar phone. Spend good money on a good case and good screen protector. Same rules for everything safety related - spend twice as much on gear as you do on your first motorcycle, too.And that said, this thing easily justifies the price. The little contraption looks like a toy, but it's a jig - and jigs are supposed to be cheap and simple and reliable. Yes, you do need to watch the video for the instructions to make sense, but how hard is that to do? It's not even two minutes, and this jig lets you do all the set-up for perfect results before you pull the trigger. And the best thing about the jig to me is that it isn't a one-and-done use tool. The thing is designed (and includes the necessary parts) to do repeated applications, so one pack can do two phones, or one phone twice. I haven't checked, but I'd wager they will even sell you more screen covers and kits without having to buy another UV/jig.The design is flatly genius and covers every little possible base. Covers for all openings/buttons. Adhesive precisely placed to hold phone exactly as needed. A jig for the adhesive and even the adhesive themselves are perfectly dosed. Little felt absorbers on the narrow edge to absorb squeezeout. And all of those parts have spares and are designed to be easily and accurately switched for fresh, included ones. It's kind of insane just how good the jig is. Does it require a little setup? yes. Do you need to watch a two-minute video? also yes. But that's how repeatability and precision work. Measure twice, cut once. The fingerprint sensor works fine. You just need to delete your old fingerprints and scan new ones, since it's measuring your thumb about 0.5mm further away. Even still, I've noticed it fails to work first-time about one in twenty or thirty attempts, and I've just gotten used to it needing a second try once or twice a day. And to get back to 100% accuracy, you need to go into your settings -> display -> enable "Touch Sensitivity" Other than that, once a case is on, there's absolutely no way to tell this thing has a screen protector beyond the tiny U cutout for the camera. It feels just as premium as the glass on the phone itself.Overall, just spend a little money on this. It's not a big investment into a phone that IS a big investment, and you exchange a little bit of "setup" time for the immense frustration of applying screen protectors. Also, the UV light is identical to my wife's nail polish curing light. So you can literally just repurpose it afterwards for nails!

A Clear Cut Winner for the Money
I've had this screen protector installed for a year now, and in this time, I've honestly forgotten I even have had it on.To start off, I accidentally scratched my screen a few days after getting my S21 Ultra (lucky me). So immediately I bought a cheap plastic screen protector. However, plastic protectors tend to have a few issues. They're not as durable in terms of impact resistance, they can be iffy in terms of fingerprint reading, and they can get a bit dirty depending on the environments you're using your phone in. For someone who loves to hike, having dirt creep in under the screen edges was not exactly ideal. So, after a few months of dealing with it, I decided to try this product out. First of all, do what I did and watch installation videos on YouTube before and during the installation of the screen protector. It's not rocket science, but there are a few steps where you can easily screw up (and thankfully, if you do screw up one install, they do give you a second protector to try again with). After it's installed, it really shouldn't even be apparent that it's there. There's no glossiness that plastic protectors have, no lasting smudges or big annoying air bubbles. It's like there's not even a protector there. The only iffy part is that there can be occasional times where the fingerprint sensor won't register your fingerprint. It doesn't happen all the time, and it's pretty understandable considering you're putting a thick piece of glass on top of the screen, but still, it is worth mentioning. Also, as an added benefit I wasn't even expecting, the UV curing process actually sealed up those scratches I got before! I can't even find where they were now. So, double win!

Shockingly bad customer service, with shockingly weak glass, and a shockingly difficult install
I mean, wow. I was really excited for this screen protector. I watched five videos. I wanted to make sure I installed it correctly and completely understood the steps. What nothing - the documentation, the official and unofficial install videos, etc - notified me of is how much more difficult this install would be if your phone has some of the oleophobic coating worn down. My phone has it worn down on the bottom half where my thumb is most often interacting with it.Because of this, the adhesive that comes out of a little pen in liquid form was physically unable to remain in its circular shape in the middle of the screen. It completely relied on having an oleophobic coating fully intact for the install. I can't stress this enough - if your oleophobic coating is worn down (fingerprints stick more easily on one part of the screen than another part), DO NOT even attempt this install. My first attempt out of the two-pack ended up not adhering correctly and had bubbles in it. Had to scrap that, which was pretty hard to get off (it stuck pretty heavily in the area my oleophobic coating had worn off). Ended up getting the second protector looking pretty good, after messing with it and pushing out bubbles in a way the documentation doesn't explain at all (since they just assume every single customer buying this has a brand new practically unused display).Unfortunately, two days after the new screen protector is on, and I notice it's cracked on the bottom! I couldn't believe it. I have never once cracked a glass screen protector in my life. I never drop my phones and I'm really careful with it. The most action my S21 Ultra got with this screen protector is moving it in and out of my pocket. I still can't believe it when I think about it, a week later. I then proceeded to try and take the protector off, which resulted in the most stressful 12 hours I've ever had with a phone. You see, the adhesive with SHOCKINGLY well-adhered to the part of the display where the oleophobic coating is wearing off. My attempt to remove the screen protector like I did the first time (and like I saw it described on Whitestone Dome's website) resulted in little shards of glass EVERYWHERE. And then, on the area - maybe 1.5"x3" in size - where the oleophobic coating was wearing off, I was literally unable to remove the Whitestone Dome glass from it. I was trying to get under it with isopropyl alcohol, using a hair dryer to try and warm up the adhesive, etc. and nothing was doing more than breaking a couple more tiny shards of glass. The next morning I ended up getting a razer blade out and got under there and eventually getting the rest of the glass off there, the entire time freaking out because I'm putting a razer blade to my $1300 phone.Over that 4-or-so day period, I contacted Whitestone Dome through their website twice, putting into clear words my problems along with pictures. They haven't even responded, and it's been over a week.Very easily the worst phone accessory experience I've ever had, and possibly the most I've ever spent on a phone accessory, as well. And since the screen protectors are ruined and the bits of them are thrown away, I probably can't even get my money back.

Love the way it slides on
I love the engineering behind this product. It was very easy to install. Mostly because of the installation being semi automated. The most tricky part is getting the glass onto the phone and that is handled beautifully by the installation case. Please keep in mind that the surface needs to be flat on which the installation is being attempted. Make sure the adhesive is exactly is the centre of the screen or it won't spread to all corners evenly.Only downside is the phone unlock speed. I didn't need to rescan the fingerprint but I feel like the phone takes twice as longer to unlock now. It's been a couple of days since installation and it seems good. It seems to be compatible with the Spigen case for my phone.
