licks it and leaves his food!
My 18 year old cat just loves this stuff. He licks it off his food. He is finicky at his age. I add it to his food and mix it up to get him to eat his food. He will lick it off the floor. He watches me and just can't seem to wait for it. BE CAREFUL and don't get the NATURAL gel. Get this one!

Works good for our cat
Good reliable product. Our cat won't eat it by herself so we put a finger full between cheek and gum, hold her mouth closed and head up for a few seconds until she swallows. We prefer this petrolatum based version over the vegetable oil product. This seems to work better of we keep it in refrig.

This hairball gell is the best!
I have used NutriVet hair ball gell for all my cats since 1960sThey changed formular awhile ago but happy to report it is now back to a taste that ALL cats love and my present cat takes it right out of the tube. No more vomited hairballs using it daily!Strongly recommend this !

Why is Amazon hiding this?
I’ve bought this particular hairball gel to prevent hairballs and vomiting with my cats for years, but suddenly Amazon has pushed it down in the listings and even removed the regular add to cart button to make it seem out of stock. But when I click on buying options it’s available and seemingly from PetAg itself. And of course, what Amazon is pushing me to buy instead is the Amazon brand hairball gel.My cats love this gel, which is saying a lot for my one picky eater who won’t even eat regular cat treats. Better yet, it works great for preventing hairballs and vomiting. I’m able to just plop a little in their bowl with their wet food every couple of days during high shed times.

Damaged/faulty product - no remedy
Product arrived as shown in picture. There are no returns, which makes sense as it is a food product, but there is no provision for replacement due to shipping damage. I actually do not blame shipping on this - I've had faulty seal lines on these tubes before.
