This unique heart shaped pendant is made from .999 fine silver, and features a 5mm trillium cut amethyst colored cubic zirconia. The heart base is a classic origami heart folded from a single sheet of pure silver. This was drilled on the left side, and set with a triangular amethyst colored cubic zirconia. A second layer of silver with a triangular cut in it is layered on top to hold the gem in place and acts as a bezel. The whole left side is brightly polished. On the right side, a random collection of silver scrap shapes was layered over the heart, and given a dark antiquing to bring out the details and contrast the left side. I suppose I could come up with some philosophical explanation of the design, maybe describing the "duality of man" or something, but the truth is the idea just came to me and I went with it. It weighs about 10 grams of pure silver, and measures about 1.25 inchess across. Comes with a 24 inch inch sterling silver chain as shown. Ships in a tissue lined jewelry box, perfect for gifting.
