All these cutters are safe to be placed in a home dishwasher top rack as long as water temperature stays 150 F or below. However for long lasting use we recommend to hand wash them. Its super easy!

Q: How much of the sandwich is wasted when you use these cutters?

Well if you are using large cutters to remove the crust from sandwich bread, then you don't wast much of the bread. Train, butterfly and dolphin shaped cutters are very efficiently designed to save as much bread as possible. Little bit of bread is wasted with star shaped cutter though, however, you can save that bread to make bread crumbs!
