Nicely crafted of genuine olive wood. I recommend an occasional light coating of mineral or olive oil not only to preserve but to bring out the beautiful wood grain. It functions perfectly. There is no need to grind it down. I made crêpes already and only wished I had ordered two for easier flipping. I use a flat cast iron pan, well cured with coconut oil. Crêpes don't stick if you cook at medium-low temperatures and a light coat of butter for flavor mainly. I also use the 5 inch crêpe spreader by Crepe Scott. They both function without a flaw. Rinse the spreader between crêpes and it will never stick to the batter which I mix in a protein drink shaker with the spring wire ball inside. Practice; have fun. Cooking is an art form, not a science. Happy crêpes to you!

I bought the set as a gift so can't comment on whether it's easy to clean, durable, etc. The set was good looking and the wood appeared to be smoothly finished without rough edges, and had a natural wood finish versus a coated polished finish. They were well received and the recipient seemed happy to have them!

Love the size, won’t scratch my Le Creuset, nice leather strap. But you should hand wash only.

I’ve had this turner for a few years and use it regularly. The wood is quality, does not splinter, stain or smell. At first I was hesitant about the leather hanger, but it’s held up very well. I only hand wash it.

We broke one of the servers from an old set from Crate and Barrel, and this was the closest match I could find. Very happy with the choice, even though they are a bit smaller than the massive servers we had before. These are plenty big for our purposes and very comfortable to use. Love the olivewood! They look great and are easy to clean.

I love these wooden spatulas! I cook everyday and work hard to maintain a healthy diet. Using tools that are basic and from the earth is consistent with my aspiration of keeping life simple. I hand wash only and regularly oil my turner with mineral oil, which brings out the grain and keeps the utensil in great shape! I do not foresee this cracking because of the oil. I realize some folks think that sounds like way too much maintenance, which I get. It just depends on the person.

Nice wooden turner with smooth sides and color . The only problem I had with it is the edge could have been a bit more thin so to make it easier to flip the crepes over . But maybe j just need more practice with it . It's a good size and the handle is long enough .

Product is NOT olive wood, it is cheap feeling and looking. Wood is not smooth at all.

Thinner than I'd like but work well and aesthetically beautiful to look at. Arrived very quickly ☺️

Bought this cause I needed something heavy duty to stir the 5lbs of fried rice I make. It works well.
