Sioux Chief Chief-846-S3PK 846-S3PK 5-Inch Cast Iron Strainer

I bought this to replace a cover for my outdoor drain, next to the house. The drain cover is sturdy, and made of cast-iron. The holes allow for drainage, while keeping out leaves and other debris from the pipes. This little gadget has saved my basement from flooding, and highly recommend for anyone needing to replace their drain cover.

Worked great! Could not find anything that would work in the big Blue or Orange stores. Used in my garage where there is a drain cover that basically disintegrated. Fit perfectly. Had to clean up the rim of the drain that had rust but fit perfect. I didn't want to roll an ankle

Very strong solid item. I bought it to replace a missing cover at our restaurant. Our fryer sits next to the drain and I needed something strong that would hold up if the fryer were rolled over it. Unfortunately I ordered the incorrect size and cannot use this one but I plan to order another size of the same item. This is excellent quality at a very affordable price.
