Well it does what it should do that is great.It also works well for a Masking paint.

Despite adding7-8 drops per airbrush cup of semi-gloss color paint I was only able to achieve a nice satin finish, not high gloss as advertised. Otherwise, standard Vallejo quality, easy water clean up, etc.

We use this to make the tubes and fins of model rockets smooth as glass so they look perfect when we paint them.I have two kids doing rockets for 4H, and one of the big things the judges look at is lines in the cardboard tubes and the fins looking like painted wood (of course, they ARE painted wood).Using this putty is easy. Put a little on the end of a popsicle stick, spread it on the areas you need to fill, let it dry, sand with fine (800+ grit) sandpaper. You end up with a perfectly smooth surface that takes paint well and looks great.This can also be used to fill in tear-outs that happen sometimes when you cut the fins out of the balsa (some rockets have a template and just small balsa sheets and you have to cut your own fins).

The name of the paint is Deck Tan, but the FS number of FS36440 which is the matte version of the gloss Light Gull Grey FS 16440.Although comparing it to Vallejo's actual FS 16440 it is a bit lighter/tanner. However, that is probably because gloss tends to be a little darker in appearance. Regardless, it made a great "Light Gull Grey" paint color for the Navy High Vis schemes on the jets of my 1/700 scale Kitty HawkTypical nice Vallejo paint quality otherwise

Hello, I am a plastic modeler who builds modern military aircraft. During my builds, I prioritize making the subject as hisorically accurate as possible. I therefore used Vallejo French Mirage Blue Paint to paint the 1/48 scale Mirage 2000c kit from Kinetic Model. I recommend that a primer coat be applied to your kit prior to using acrylic based paints to enhance paint adhesion to your model. After applying the acrylic paint over the primer coat, it should be protected by a final coat of clear enamel to seal it in. Once this is done, placing decals on the kit can be completed. Great paint for this specific subject.

Yet another Vallejo product that is worth the money. It comes in a runny, syruppy like consistency, that oozes from the bottle quite slowly.It's great for getting in to those small spaces that are thin and long, where the capillary attraction effect on this liquid means it kind of fills itself in to the hole.My only complaint with it, is if you accidentally squeeze too much out, it spreads and is a bugger to clean up !In spite of this, it's a very useful product that is quite like nothing else. When it sets, which doesn't take very long, you can sand it, texture it and then paint and varnish it. It's also pretty handy for using on bases to create texture.

Modellers are a tribal lot with preferences for paint, model manufacturers etc. Most of all paint.Now, I'm in that rare group who don't really have a huge opinion on each manufacturer because frankly every major brand I've used works well. Any problems are of my own making or the paint is ancient.However, my overall choice is Vallejo because of a few reasons. Firstly having returned to the hobby a few years ago I came across Vallejo paints in the super handy dropper bottles. A real revelation to someone who for years struggled with crusty Humbrol enamel pots. That immediately made me a little bit biased towards Vallejo.Next, Vallejo have a huge range of colours. More so than any other manufacturer and this makes colour matching any model easy.Now, the bit where people get hot under the collar and tribal. How good the paint is. Well, in my opinion Vallejo paint is excellent. I've never had any issues using it in five years apart when I make a mistake mixing to spray or the paint is old and lumpy. Even then I filter the paint and a couple of drops of flow improver and hey presto! Back to normal.Coverage is excellent. A couple of thin coats when spraying and a deep colour is obtained.Colour matching given the range of tones and variations is easy to obtain. This particular colour to my eyes matches well with the colours actually used when I compare to the real items in Bovington Tank Museum. I appreciated one has to also scale it to suit and in general a little lighter is often better for scale effect. This particular shade seems to work very well on a 1:35 scale panzer.Overall, my go to paint manufacturer.

This is not too easy to use, but it does what it's supposed to do when you get it on the surface you're using it to mask. Big chubby fingers and small models make it hard to remove but I find cocktail stick works quite well to start getting the mask off.It is best to use a brush to put this product on but DO NOT use your best modelling or art brushes, this is a quick drying rubber based product so if you use a brush have some warm clean water nearby to wash the brush immediately or the brush will end up like hair with chewing gum in it ONLY WORSE.Allow this product to dry before brush painting near it.

I bought this paint thinner to rescue my small set of Deco Art Americana All-Purpose Acrylic Paint Pot Value Pack 34 small colours which I'd left in the sun on my desk and had started to dry out. This thinner was able to rescue the ones that had not dried out too far. I still have around 2/3rds of it left after using what I thought was a lot of it, so it goes a long way. It is also low odour which I was thankful for as I'm very sensitive to chemical smells. Would recommend.

I use this and also the Vallejo filler in a tube, which is the same stuff in a different applicator. It is fantastic for filling joins and small imperfections in models, and is easy to work with. The open time is good, allowing you to smooth and remove excess carefully. I use rubber colour shader brushes to move it around.You can also use water on a damp brush or rubber squeegee to smooth the filler further. Allow 24 hours to cure before flatting with fine wet & dry.I have also used this for building back up raised details, with careful sanding when cured.I would not recommend this for filling large holes however, as it is really just thick paint. for such applications, I use Revell Putty to build up the mass, then this filler to smooth out any roughness after the putty has dried fully.
