Brand new and needed fixing
You may or may not have the same issues I had. I’m not a novice to airbrush, I’m an artist and have a workshop. I purchased this because my regulator cracked over time and was leaking air consistently. It’s very easy to install, basically plug and play. It was leaking air from where it screws into the compressor, where the pressure valve connects and where the airbrush valve connects.I needed to install rubber washers to prevent the leaking. Then I noticed another leak. Where the unit comes together in the center (sorry, I’m not sure what to call it). But I had to remove the 4 screws that hold it together and place Teflon tape around the inside on all 4 sides to give it a proper seal. As you can see in the photo. THEN it finally worked correctly! Being that I have 7 orders waiting to go out, I don’t have time to send back for another. Luckily I’m a handy person who is a problem solver because I don’t think my husband would have gone to the same lengths to fix it. Now that it works, yes, it does it job. But I honestly shouldn’t have had to fix a brand new item. Silver lining is that I can finalize my orders for Monday shipping

Excellent replacement part
The flimsy drain petcock on the original regulator on my compressor developed an annoying and incurable leak. I was happy to see this item at a good price and with what appeared to be a more substantial valve to drain the water trap. The only downside was that there was zero in the way of installation instructions or drawings. I guess they figure someone buying only a regulator like this knows what they were doing. However, by observing the old regulator as I removed it, installation was fairly intuitive and ended up being easy and successful. This new regulator works very well. No leaks, and the orientation of the gauge is much better for my setup than the one that came with the compressor, so I am very happy with the results and the additional life I will get out of this compressor.

Doesn't include a fitting needed, but was able to make it work.
I ordered this Master brand regulator to replace the original regulator on my Master TC-40t compressor. With them both being the same brand, I was hoping the new part would include any fittings I needed. But the new part only included 1/4" male to 1/8" male fittings, not the 1/4" male to 1/4" male fitting I needed. The original fitting had some rust and was stuck to the old regulator body, but I was able to get it loose after a long soak in WD-40. Once I got it loose, I was able to use it to make everything work together.

Does the job
Bought this as an inline airbrush filter for my shop compressor. I found I couldn't directly hook this up to my 1/4" air compressor hose quick connect as the tapered hose connector wouldn't thread into the 1/4" female fitting on the filter. I had to fabricate an adapter, but eventually got it connected. Once hooked up it works as advertised.
