Repeat customer due to excellent experience.
I purchased this product several years ago for a family member with some physical and cognitive issues that made him a fall risk. The wireless alarm allowed us to keep him safe while not alerting him to the reason why we always seemed to "catch him" getting up without asking for assistance. ;-) The product worked well and was easy to set up. The staff at the assisted living facility that he moved into loved that we had this because it helped them keep a close eye on our family member. I recently purchased a second set for another family member who had become a fall risk. Unfortunately, right after I ordered it, her condition rapidly declined, and by the time it arrived, she was no longer in need of it because she was being moved into hospice care. When I tried to start a return, it said it wasn't eligible for return; however, when I reached out to Amazon Customer Service, they processed the return/refund once I explained the situation and informed them that the package hadn't even been opened.

The item works.
It alerts staff at nursing home when my mum tries to get up from bed.

Gives you peace of mind.
This is probably the first time where I have became super passionate about a review. my husband and bonus daughter and I moved in with my Mammaw to help take care of her. She has a mild form of dementia. Within the past two months she has fell almost a dozen times. She falls asleep when she is in the bathroom or sitting straight up in her chair. Because of her falls, she has taken quite a bit of damage to her head. we feel as though she is at the point where she needs 24/7 care. Because of this, my husband and I hadn’t slept in the same bed for a few weeks. We hardly seen each other other than when we are eating together. We would take shifts on who would stay with her during the day and sleep up stairs with her. When I saw this product, I knew I had to give it a try. This product is truly amazing and I may go as far as saying that me and my husband don’t feel like roommates anymore. Trust me when I say that this product is amazing. I have the peace knowing that if she sits up, the alarm will let me know and I can run upstairs to her. The sound isn’t super harsh, just enough to wake you up. Thank you for creating this product. I highly recommend purchasing the optic baby monitor and this together. You can watch your loved one from another room and if you fall asleep the alarm will alert you.

much quieter than the first model
This bed sensor and chair sensor are really useful especially if you have an outlet and you purchase the adapter. The startup needs a pin to activate and after that you are good to go. The sensor light is not very intrusive since it can hang off the bed like ours does. It uses a wireless connection to signal when there is movement. The chime on the alarm is pleasant, like an old doorbell ("ding-dong" sound). It will activate everytime there is movement and the alarm is set to "on." If you turn off the alarm and someone lies on top of the sensor pad you will still hear a clicking sound from the alarm. Very handy. It's been in use for more than a month, we had no batteries to replace and it's never failed. highly recommend.

Sensors/alarm not always reliable
This is my 3rd bed alarm with this model/company (unfortunately they only last less than a year). The alarm triggers correctly about 80% of the time. However, it seems to randomly not go off at times. I will hear my Father with dementia upstairs walking around and the alarm was not even triggered. The pad on the bed was positioned correctly (like it always is), and the alarm was on chime (right beside my chair as usual) and was not out of range. The batteries were fresh (no blinking). It's tested each night. My point is that this sensor pad and alarm is not always reliable. And this causes stress not knowing when it's going to malfunction again. The new one I just bought a week ago has already malfunctioned twice, so not a great start.
