Returned and defective item shipped out as new
Unit was defective and had clearly been used: used batteries where there should be no batteries, dirty stale water in the tubes, sensors scratched. It seems that we were shipped a returned item. Paid $425 but estimated refund is only $380. Not sure why. Will stay away from Kohler from now onwards.

Great faucet
The pros for these faucets are that you can usually get them for a lower price than their European competition. They also come with a low flow aerator and use standard AAA batteries. It's not clear to me why the competition is not capable of moving off the specialized photo batteries. I've had two of these for several months and one has developed a valve problem similar to what another reviewer mentioned. However, I was able to fix this by taking off the cover and wiping everything down. After putting it back, it was like new. For now I'm not taking any points off, but may reconsider if this happens frequently. Happy with the purchase so far.

Junk
Had for 1-2 years in dental office. One by one all three started leaking......one drip, two drips, etc. We ended up turning off all the water lines to these.......back to the drawing board. For the price very disappointing!!

I love it!
This faucet works like a charm - does not have any of the issues that I have found other automatic faucets to have (like not turning on even though your hands are under it). Good power and perfect for what I need!
