Fairly enjoyable seasoning for chicken and more
This is a good, but not great, seasoning for chicken. It is a blend of a variety of seasonings, with the garlic and onion coming through the most. It uses a sweet base, with white and brown sugar. That makes for a nice glaze effect when it's used on BBQ chicken. There's some heat, but it's moderate and not overwhelming. It works well on veggies in addition to chicken. It is a bit heavier on the garlic than I would have liked, and it does not have much of a smoky taste, which I prefer. Even so, a solid 4 star seasoning.

Great flavor
Great seasoning for chicken. Not too spicy but a good overall flavor.

Sweet Seasoning
This seasoning for chicken is slightly spicy and sweet. There are limited ingredients which is nice and it says it is free of MSG.I sprinkled my chicken breast quite generously with the seasoning before grilling. I placed them on a silicone sheet and then on the grill. When they had completed cooking they tasted fine but there was no caramelized crust as stated. They were slightly sweet because there is sugar in the mix but overall I was slightly disappointed especially as a bottle costs $11.99.

Delicious Roasted Chicken, Still a Fair Amount of Sodium
Great results with this rub with my roasted chicken, it was wonderful with beer chicken on the grill too. I like that it is "low sodium" but it isn't as low as I'd like, 50 mg per 1/4 tsp still can add up to a lot of sodium by the time you cover an entire chicken. I do have other rubs that have a similar sodium amount, but don't market themselves as low sodium, and those that are higher are more in the 70-80 range but it is useful to know it's on the lower end if you want to buy a ready-made rub. Still, this is why people on a low sodium diet are usually better off making their own rubs to better control the salt level.

Happy this is low sodium but has a sweet smokey taste
This is lower sodium but you don't notice the absence of salt! However I am not sure I am a fan of the flavor. Rather than a multi purpose seasoning this is more like a bbq or perhaps tex-mex type spice. It has a slight sweet taste and a definite red color. Tasting the seasoning on its own I think of BBQ potato chips!! This is a good blend but it has specific uses. I am going to try it as a spice for roasting potates. This is a sweet blend though. Brown Sugar is the 2nd ingredient and White Sugar the 3rd.

This is a very flavorful and pleasant seasoning
This is our second seasoning we've tried from this brand. The first seasoning didn't disappoint so we had high hopes for this one as well. Well, this was just as great tasting as the other! It's a seasoning that's spiced enough without burning the mouth or turning everything bitter or overly pungent. The spices hold well onto the meat without shaking off when cooking. The jar says for seasoning chicken, but we've found that this works well on pork also. This is low sodium so it allows for one to adjust the sodium content by adding more salt if needed. But for us, this is just right. We've used this on meats that have been grilled, baked and slow roasted, all tasting great. We've even drizzled olive oil on vegetables and sprinkled this over them then threw it on the grill; the vegetables turned out with such great flavor. And since the vegetables had this free range seasoning on it, we decided to flavor the meat with some barbecue sauce at the end, just for variety. And this seasoning went well with the barbecue sauce. This is a great, versatile seasoning to have in the cabinet

Decent Flavor But Lacking
If you're looking for a low salt spice option.. this would be it.Unfortunately for me, it's so lacking in the salt... nothing I cooked initially with just this rub alone tasted right. When I would add a wee bit of salt to this before adding to my meats to smoke... the flavor came out nicely.Would I reorder this? Prolly not, it wasn't awful... but it didn't leave me wanting to have this in my seasoning rotation
F**!
Excellent flavor, not just for chicken
This is a well balanced spice blend, with elements of heat, sweet, and smokiness. Unfortunately it doesn’t list the ingredients, other than onion and garlic (just lists everything else as “spices”) but it is clear that there is a well balanced variety of spices. When I first tasted it (before actually cooking with it!) the sweetness hit me first (perhaps because I wasn’t expecting it?), followed by the smokiness and then a relatively mild but building heat. It is very low in sodium (only 50mg) which is great. I used this on some chicken breasts and they were awesome! Because the flavor is so well balanced I thought it would do well on fish too so I seasoned some tilapia and it was amazing... the heat and smokiness is a little similar to some of the blackening seasonings, but the sweetness adds a different dimension and tames the heat/spiciness just a bit. I think this would also be fantastic on roasted veggies as well. Overall I am extremely impressed, and consider this an elevated spice blend that is definitely appropriate for more than just chicken! Hope this info is helpful!
