An Average Despair
A definite purchase if you're following the Danganronpa series. For this series, you follow both Komaru Naegi (Sister of Makoto) and Toko Fukawa's alter ego to overcome the Warriors of Hope.Getting to know both characters and their very unusual chemistry along the way. Some supporting characters were very welcoming and you can piece the references to the previous Danganronpa games.Unlike the previous two, this is certainly no murder mystery game as you already know who The Warriors of Hope are to start with, therefore you'd call it a "forced" survival game. However, NIS's new third person gameplay style was very ambitious and somewhat welcoming, it did pose minor camera and control issues. One major issue I had during this was their was no manual shooting. If you aim the enemy you intend to shoot, it'll aim automatically at a different enemy you didn't want to aim which can affect the gameplay when encountering multiple enemies. When progressing throughout the game, certain rooms does become a chore than a true problem solving puzzle.Overall, the story helmed well, but I felt the gameplay style was their weakest and could've been brushed up smoothly.Nevertheless, with V3 Harmony on the horizon; I still have confidence NIS America will knock that out of the park.

Fun off shoot not essential but great for Toko Fans
One for hardcore fans of Danganronpa only, its a fun off shoot but not like the mainline entries at all. its cool to see a different style of gameplay in the danganronpa world but it wont be for everyone. i think i enjoyed it as im a huge Toko fan and she features heavily and is playable and very funny! the story is whacky and wild. good spin off.

such a good game - a great little spin off from the original danganronpa games; any true fan should play this, it really adds to the story of the series even if the gameplay is completely different to 1, 2 and v3

good game frustrating sometimes
sometimes the game lags or freezes which can be infuriating if you haven't saved.
