Worked with Apple Cinema Display and MacBook Pro 2019
I loved the old Cinema displays but the Apple version of this cable is no longer available. It works as long as the USB-C male goes directly into the MacBook - it won't work with a USB-C dongle for instance.Picture quality is great!

Excellent and cheap option to revive my 30” Cinema Display and 27” LED Cinema display. So happy to see those wonderful display to work with my new MacBook.Adapter looks solid and good material.

No reason to pay more
At this price point, it represents very good value for money. I use this product almost every day, often for ten hours at a time. I use it on a Mac computer despite users often claiming incompatibility when using Apple products. I don't see a reason to pay more. Time may tell I guess, but so far it works just great.

Didn’t work- I switched it out for the apple brand cord which worked well
Product didn’t work, I had to switch it out for the apple cord. Save the hassle and just get the apple version.

The video and audio is perfect
I have an Apple 27" LED Cinema Display that has been connected to my MacBookPro for over 6 years. I replaced the MacBookPro with a new M1 Mac Mini and this video adapter worked perfectly to connect the Mini DisplayPort monitor to the USB C input.

Haven't had it a year...
This worked extremely well from March - September but now the cord has started making a popping sound and multiple times a day, my screen will go black and I have to reconnect it. Would like a refund.
