Sony 16GB USB Flash Drive for Type-C Smartphone and Tablets (USM16CA1/S)

It works in my phone and is tiny. Works great, but is hard to remove from a PC when it's plugged in fully to a USB A port. The silicone sleeve keeps it from sliding away and keeps it in my pocket but it's not really "secure". I can imagine people wishing there was a lanyard mount on this. The smallness is not enough for me to deduct a star, since it functions flawlessly. Transfers fairly quick, at definite USB 3 speeds but I haven't measured out.

Works great for transferring files from one computer to another and storing important documents on. Very small form factor but very well built and comes with a rubber housing to make handling it much easier. Works great in USB 3.0 and USB C ports. Haven't expierenced any problems taking file from my work computer to personal computer.

It's not bad, but it's way too small. Inserting and removing from my PC or anything else is a hassle since there's no grip. Another is that it gets hot very fast. Since it's made of a type of metal, it's very noticeable. Other than that, it works fine for my PC. However I did have problems with it being read by my device at the time. I eventually got it working. Maybe it's because I chose the 64GB model? I'm not sure. Just stick to a regular USB flash drive.

Works well with Samsung Galaxy TabPro S' USB-C (you can use it in Samsung Recovery. You have to change flash drive's filesystem to NTFS by formatting it to use it in Samsung Recovery.) Smaller than I thought! Read/Write speed is over average. Not bad. Edit: I got stabile 116-117 MB/s transfer speed. (PC to Sony) It worth its money.

Good thumb drive. Love it. Only reason why it's four star review is because of the sleeve or housing of the flash drive. The sleeve or the housing is made out of some kind of silicon and I've had the flash drive pop out of it. Good thing it happened in my truck or in my pocket, but I'd be scared if I am the type that likes to put the keys around the belt loop. The sleeve or the housing is the only thing I have a problem with, probably will have to 3D print me a proper sleeve or a housing for it. Works great on my computer and on my Nexus 6P.

This is a very transitionally phased device. It is only good if you have devices which are incompatible with one another and you need to move very small files. The real reason the capacity is so tiny is that the thing gets insanely hot juts putting a 2GB file on it. It also operates at very slow speeds, even when using USB-C. It looks really nice but it's not practical. For the price, I do not think it is worth it. It served its purpose and now I have nothing but USB-C/TB3 devices so its time to move on to something cool (temperature-wise) and faster.

I purchased the USB for use with my Nexus 6p. Everything worked extremely well and I had no compatibility issues whatsoever. I opted for the 32gb model as I was unsure of how the device would handle the exFAT format needed on the 64gb. I am very pleased with the product and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a type C usb storage device

Worst design ever! The device itself works...both USB-C & USB-A...but the storage is a silicon sleeve that easily allows for the device to fall out. DO NOT ATTACH to a key chain...I was fine until today...I looked down, the the device was gone. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER SONY, no matter what the design!

Arrived on time, and worked as described. Very happy with it.

The product is very good. It was earlier heating a little bit now it is working flawless.

Good Performance and convenient to use!

It does get hot, but that's expected. Quite easy to lose, the silicone case is not as secure as you may think.
