Great little card reader, worked fine for about 9 months, then stopped working altogether. Poor build quality. Supposed to be 1 year warranty so I'll see about replacing it but it's annoying that I have to deal with that.

I wish I had known about this product a LONG time ago! Since I have a helmet-cam on my bicycle, and it uses "microSD" cards, this is the PERFECT item to have, since it is small enough (hence its portability) to read the card in my camera on ANYTHING that has a USB or micro USB port! ESPECIALLY helpful if the worst happens, (I get run off the road, and taken to the hospital) then the police will have a way to read (see) the evidence on the card in my camera! (Which is why I always carry this with me!) They even have a little tag with instructions on how to use it (I admit, I did'nt look at it at first, as I'm one of those who only reads the instructions as a last resort, like some others do! [you know who you are!]) The first time around, I got a bum product (it happens sometimes) so I got hold of the company, and they replied WITHIN 12 hours of my e-mail, and had a new unit in the mail the next day! Their customer support is EXEMPLARY!!! For me, that makes a BIG difference! The card reader itself, is'nt too much bigger than half the length of an average adults' thumb! The little box it comes in, (and you can carry around with you) is'nt too much bigger than the average adults' middle finger! Also, it comes packed in molded foam inside the box it arrives in, and you can keep using that foam as you use the reader, so you don't have to worry about having it rattling around in your pocket! *I received this item at a discount for a fair and unbiased review*, and wished I had known about it sooner, because I would've bought it at full price and left the same review!

I own two or three of these type devices and I've never really been happy with any of them.I was offered this product in exchange for an honest review. I'm glad I accepted.So just a quick overview on what this product does.It is essentially a microSD card reader with two interfaces. One is the standard USB plug you would use on a computer or a laptop. The other is a microUSB plug - the type found on tablets and mobile devices - using the OTG (On The Go) standard.It comes in a totally unnecessary aesthetically pleasing package (see the pictures). A little insert shows you where to put the microSD card (very unusual but really cool too).The unit is reversible - as seen in the pictures.There is a small red LED inside the body that shows connection and data traffic to and from the card.Unlike some devices of this type, the quality is very high. The connectors are quality and have fit every device I've tried it on very well.OTG functionality will vary from device to device and will probably be read only on most devices. It is a great way to temporarily access a microSD card on devices that do not have a microSD card slot of their own.The price is fantastic too. I love everything about it. Highly recommended.

This card reader is extremely handy and very fast. I've had lots of phones and cameras over the years, which add up to lots of readers and even more memory cards. What I noticed first was the small size of this reader. It's very compact, and perfect for storing in my purse or camera bag. I use it, mostly, to transfer photos from my phone to my computer or tablet, since my phone has a small memory.This reader works for me only because the majority of my cards are microSD. I do wish it supported various card types, since I do have a few stray SDs, but that's really my only complaint. For my micros, it does a good job. This reader reads and transfers data pretty quickly, which is great when I have multiple cards and files to transfer.I received a discounted rate on the purchase of this reader in exchange for my evaluation and unbiased review. If you have one of those tiny mini (micro) SD cards, you will likely find this reader useful. It comes in a plastic carrying/storing case that is helpful to have. Something as small as this reader could easily get lost. One end of the reader holds your SD card and the other end plugs into the USB port of your computer or telephone. It all comes in one piece. There is a slip of paper with directions on its use, which is helpful to have if you've never used a micro SD card reader.It think that the reader is easy to use and made well. I have had no problems with it. I like having a reader for the tiny SD cards; before I had been using a larger SD card that you slip the micro card into. It was awkward. This is a much better system and this reader from Eachteck does the job well.*I received a discount for this product.*
