Xbox 360 GhostCase - Clear Disk Drive Lid

Each kit comes with 2 bezels i did not receive my whole order I only received 3 kits instead of 4 (disregard it arrived the next day thank you!!!)

Ok, Now that i installed the chost case I got this.. Let me tell you right now I included a video of the totalthing done and installed... This Drive Mod SUCKS!!! It was the worst to fit to the drive you have to takethe apart remove the magnet from the metal shell and then go ahead and try to fit it to the drive whichwas Hilarious I had to cut slits into the side of the drive itself and then Pin it with Phillips Screws in orderto keep it in place. I had to use and Awl to scratch marks into the sides of the tray and then cut slits witha dremel tool. The video says it allhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJ8wHERAbn0It did not come with screws to pin it i had to use my own Then it doesn't even give you instructions how toinstall and what versions of drives it will fit... I also have to cut away some plastic from my talismoon fanbecause the clips on each end got in the way... Needless to say POORLY Designed and Poorly Documented...I have been doing xbox's for years and I cannot get over someone would try to sell this with no documentationand poor design..... Sheesh Engineers "Ho or Lionel"

Seems to be the exact same product as the OG Xbox clear drive cover?A pain to install, comes with no instructions. You have to eyeball it and trial and error until it is lined up. Use a disc you don't mind getting scratched to get it set up. I hot glued mine in place once I had got it lined up.

i love how it looks in my xbox but only 1 major problem... when i first got it i attached it correctly and sealed up my xbox and put in a game when it started spinning it basically sanded part of my game down and made a huge noise like it was destroying my game.. which it was so i turned my xbox off opened it up grabbed a hot glue gun and had to heighten it a few cm then glued it in place just above where it was made to snap into and i fixed the problem its really nice looking with my blue leds all over my xbox and fan if your going to buy this make sure you have a hot glue gun and heighten it before use so you dont sand the bottem of your game off... did not effect the disc just the plastic ring in the center of the disc.. works perfectly love it after spending half an hour trying to figure out what was wrong and how high i should glue it.Buy this if you know what your doing...

It took a little figuring out, and you will need a bit of technical knowledge.You need to know:a) How to disassemble the Xbox 360 (and this will void your warranty)b) How to disassemble the disk drive (not so hard, four screws to take the metal case off. i had to hot glue the motherboard to the bottom edges of the drive to keep it from dangling without the metal case to secure it)c) How to install the piece. It was a little tricky for me, but I figured it out after some experimentation and frustration.You can email me at [email protected] with any questions regarding installation. I'm very happy with this piece though, I feel like it makes my machine stand out so much more than it did with a bulky grey drive taking up half the window.

I was able to use these clear disk drive on the Xbox 360 slim even though it was made for the Xbox 360 fat because my technicians & i were able to modify some holes into it and we wanted to order them for our clear Xbox 360 from Ghost case :-)

Doesn't work disc won't play with this doesn't fit right 👎👎👎👎

This item require some retro fitting as its not direct fit but once installed its great, if its not fitted properly or installed as is out of the box it makes horrible noises, what is required is to raise about 1cm or so otherwise its too low and makes abnormal noises or rubs on the disc itself.Instructions are not included and there is no real way of telling the difference between the two as nothing is marked.Despite the drawback of spending all of 5 minutes to set it perfectly and some high bonding hot glue to secure it in place, its an awesome addition to any 360 whether its Retail, Flashed or RGH1.2 (as such in the photo provided) Wont be displeased!
