This whole system is great. The more research I did for a water bottle for my aero bars, the more mixed reviews I read for every bottle including this one. The truth is, this one is perfect in my opinion. The bracket is adjustable for different aero bars, the bottle does not leak, it's very secure during a ride, it's very easy to remove, and the large opening makes it extremely easy to clean. I recommend cutting the straw much shorter and adding a Camelbak big bite valve (it's tight, but it will fit!). This will keep the end of the straw soft for safety and will keep water from splashing out of the top of the straw no matter how short you cut it. The price is right too compared to other models out there.

Amazing. Couldn’t ask for a better aero bottle. Install took about 3 minutes. My aero bars are 10cm apart center to center and could be about another centimeter closer and still adjust and work. And could be probably 13-14 cm apart center to center and still work, the bracket is adjustable. It shipped with everything seen that I needed to make it work perfectly except I chose to add a camel back mouth piece which worked well too. There was no rattling or shaking of the bottle. It has a clip on the top that is removable that helps lock it in place, I don’t believe I saw that in anyone else’s reviews, it may be new. Used it this weekend for Ironman Augusta 70.3 and it was great. For practice or shorter rides, a standard bottle fits in the cage snugly as well. I have a small light weight basic cycling computer attached to the mount that also worked well.

Unless you have level aerobars (as in level with the road), this is not the hydration system for you. My bars have the ends slightly raised and this causes the bottle to sit on an incline and it leaks everywhere (bike computer, front wheel and brakes). I tried a few different positions, to no avail. If you do have level bars, this would be a great system; easy to clean and fill, super easy to install and no moving or jostling on the ride. Sadly, I'm returning mine.

Overall I like this hydration system. I like how I can unscrew the top and add ice cubes easily (when empty) or clean out the bottle really well. The flip top works great for filling on the go from a standard bike bottle. The real issue is in the straw, as other reviews have mentioned mine came with a very strong chemical odor that was not pleasant. After various attempts to get rid of/minimize the odor I found that soaking the straw in rubbing alcohol for several days did the best. It did not remove all of the odor but enough (90%) that the straw is usable. The other issue with the straw is that it is just open ended and not very soft. I put a camelbak bite valve on right away (after getting rid of chemical odor) and it has worked great. The installation was easy and straight forward. The only other minor issue that I have with it is that there can be a bit of a rattle from it that can be annoying, but not sure if there is any other similar hydration system out there that would not be prone to this.

I've been through a bunch of different designs of between the bars hydration system in the past 7 years. So far this design and brand has been the best.Easy to clean. Easy to mount even with narrow aerobars and easy to use. Don't cut the straw too short. Leave it long and cut it a bit each ride until it's where you like it.Using it in a Cervelo P3.
