As a parent and teacher, I was disappointed with the scant information that didn't provide any new insights into this complex condition. Seek other materials. I didn't need to spend $12 to be told contact your health care provider with any questions or concerns. Was this written by Captain Obvious?

Miserable
Wow, what a miserable piece of writing this is. It's juvenile, incoherent, and grammatically poor. It's too bad there are so few books available on the topic as the information in this one is very scant and vague. Good editing wouldn't help much as there is so little substance here. The author defines dysgraphia as: "a disorder where a person has trouble with handwriting and word coherence."Here are some sample "sentences":"Poorly means that his writing may be unreadable or he may often confuse spellings." p. 13"Shape your child's academic activities in such a way so that he has to minimum writing, only when absolutely necessary." p. 25"Encourage your child to use abbreviations. These will, at one hand, help him complete his writing assignments a lot more quickly. And at the other, will help him learn words through symbols." p. 25"Let him write them comfortably, don't rush things." p. 21"So it's important that parents consult with a health care professional immediately so that they can be sure whether or not it's a case of dysgraphia." p. 17Wikipedia is more enlightening in this case.

Interesting book.
Interesting introduction to dysgraphia with useful suggestions and explanations. The text is also easy to follow and describes cognitive processing difficulties in accessible language.
