I LOVE these boots
I'm a student and was looking for some boots to wear on my long-ish walk to uni every day. Previously, I have bought many pairs of cheap winter boots from high street retailers that have no grip on the soles and fall apart in weeks. I am so glad I chose to make a bit more of an investment in these boots as they are really built to last. I have worn them most days this winter and they are exactly what I was looking for. They are so warm that they have kept my feet toasty through hours of walking in the snow. I polish mine up occasionally using the DM wonder balsam but generally I'm happy with them having a few little scuffs and looking a little bit 'shabby chic'. They do take a little bit of wearing in, I'd recommend wearing two pairs of thick socks for the first few days. After they are worn in, they are so comfortable, warm and waterproof, (as mentioned above, I use the Wonder Balsam on them, which helps with waterproofing). They look great with jeans and I have had so many compliments on them. I imagine that this pair will last me a while but when they do eventually give in, I won't hesitate to get another pair. Definitely a great investment!

Grit and stamina required
These boots look great and are fantastic quality, but I had forgotten just how much stamina and perseverance is needed to break in a pair of DMs. Your feet are made to fit the boot, not the other way around. I have very narrow feet and the fitting of this pair is quite broad, so I thought there would be plenty of room inside. However, when I tried the boots on in the house, within five minutes I was glad to get them off again. It felt like my feet had been clamped in a vice. I'm sure if I'd had the grit to endure the pain of breaking them in they would have been great, but life's too short. I have to say, the company was fantastic and returning them was easy peasy, lemon-squeezy.

Absolute trash.
Delivered this very morning, with a splits and scuffs, and neither shoe matching. Horrendous quality. Not what I expect from a premium priced product. To add further insult, I have to pay an additional £1.99 to return them.Dire product. Dire customer service.

Comfortable
Fits well, didn't need much effort to break them in, looks smartish, easy to get into (the elasticated sides has just enough give for your feet to slide in and out easily), and the soles seem suitably grippy). They were delivered promptly too. My one grumble would be that the finish doesn't 100% match the picture (to my eyes at least), though it's close enough.Addition: After a year of regular wear, I'm a little disappointed. They are still very comfortable, but the leather started to break and split on top, where the inner ball of my foot, meets the sole. We've not had much rain, but I don't think I'll be able to wear them long, once we do.

Nice boots
I wear doc martens every day . These fit me well . I like it that they have no laces .The initial discomfort with new shoes is easily sorted out with wearing thick socks and folding them at ur ankle . I have small narrow feet . I like it that the front of the boot isn’t pointy as my toes kind of go straight across not in a slope like other people
