Moisturizing!
This ROOTS AND HERBS Jatamansi Volumizing Conditioner is very moisturizing with a light pleasant scent. Because it is a volumizing conditioner I would test it on a section of your hair first. We have several different hair types in out family and products like this respond can respond differently to each.

Great Detangler
I have type 4 hair & this conditioner detangled my hair instantly. It has excellent slip. My fingers started to go through my thick hair way easier. The smell is great, it smells fruity. I slept over night with the conditioner in my hair & in the morning it was so soft & manageable. It has excellent ingredients so I anticipate it will improve my hair's health. The only ingredient I wasn't fond of was coconut oil, but that's just a preference of mine. The other ayurvedic herbs are those I really like. The conditioner is 200ml so it is quite small. It is quite pricey for the size but these ingredients are excellent.

My new favorite conditioner!
Reviewing: Jatamansi Volumizing Conditioner - All Natural Hair Conditioner with Ayurvedic Herbs & Jojoba, Neem, & Methi Cold Pressed Oils:This is a natural, ayurvedic hair conditioner, in a narrow container. The one negative thing I have to say is that I really struggled to get the plastic stopper out before I could use it. I imagine this is there to keep the product fresh and avoid leakage in transit, but wow, that thing is tricky to remove! This conditioner is free from silicones, synthetic colors, sulphates, parabens, alcohol and mineral oils. It’s suitable for vegans. The ingredients are listed on the bottle as follows: Jatamansi (Nardostachys Jatamansi) Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbabensis), Neem (Azadirachta Indica), Mulethi (Glycerrhiza Glabra), Coconut Oil (Oil of Cocos Nucifera), Vitamin E-Acetate, Kokum Butter, Jojoba Oil, Argan Oil, Rosemary Oil, Patchouli Oil, Cypress Oil, Sodium Benzoate, Purified Water. The instructions given are just like most other conditioners; after washing, you apply the condition along the length of the hair and leave for a few minutes before rinsing. The thing I love most about this conditioner is the fragrance! It reminds me of walking into one of those stores that are full of crystals and incense. Absolutely beautiful, and I love that it stays on my hair for several days after use. People have actually commented that my hair smells lovely! It’s fresh and spicy, and just amazing.I have thick, coarse, wavy hair, so I’m not really looking for extra volume, but I don’t find that this conditioner really causes that anyway. My hair feels smooth and manageable. And have I mentioned that it smells amazing? This is my new favorite conditioner. The price at the time of this review is $26.11, which is more than I’d usually pay for a conditioner, but wow, I love this. 100% worth the money, and once this bottle is finished, it will go on my wish-list for future birthdays and Christmases!

Confusing translation to English - cleanser? conditioner? (It's a conditioner)
Interesting product that proports to be 'silicone free' conditioner. Comes sealed. Also has a soft rubbery plastic inner seal/stopper that you take out to use. Note that the product says that once opened, use up within 3 months. (Not sure why). The most issues I find are the multiple and conflicting claims in the description. Claims it is a cleanser... then claims it is a conditioner. Claims to be 'volumizing' and then claims to be good for dry hair/anti frizz (usually those two things don't go together). There are obvious and many translation issues in the description, but I give the company credit for trying and don't take off stars for that. The product itself (a conditioner) does seem to work well on my long, dry, curly hair. After shampooing, I used a 1/2 palm sized portion worked into my hair from root to ends. There is an immediate difference in the texture/feel of the hair - like it's been coated (in a good way). After rinsing and towel drying, my hair has retained some of that coating (I can feel it). This would sort of act as volumizing as each hair shaft is slightly thickened as a result? It also would act to 'defrizz'. The product does seem to be nourishing to my dry hair - see the list of ingredients. The scent is about medium strong - but not unpleasant. It smells quite nice. The conditioner also imparts a bit of visible shine. My hair feels good, and has air dried into nice curls. Overall, I quite like the product, and will continue using it on my dry hair.
