Great machine
First this Frigidaire Bread machine is beautiful! Color is gorgeous.Second I waited 3 years to replace my original 20 year old Hamilton Beach I burnt up. Glad I got this one!The manual is really NOT scary as so many have stated.Yes it's metric but duh. Most measuring cups have ML and cups on them. Not hard to Google.Run it through a full bake session empty to get rid of new machine smell.Have had it 2 days and have made two beautiful loaves. One my Cottage Dill from my own recipe book years old.Today's was a Google Banana Walnut Chocolate Chip. Both highly praised by hubby neighbor and my cats.If your going to get a bread machine I highly recommend getting a good bread machine cook book. Many many recipes out there!Would definitely recommend this super quiet non bouncy reasonably priced machine!Edit to add the pan is great non stick. The loaves slide right out and the paddle is of the same material as pan so not a plastic one like my original.Great value.

Perfect Bread Every Time
My wife was convinced after her friend made bread in one of these, so I bought it for her. What can I say... perfect bread every time! Very easy to use and very easy to clean, I highly recommend this bread machine to you all :)

Great machine
I give the machine 4 stars. I would go for 5 stars but the booklet/recipe/instructions that comes with this machine is useless. It goes by OZ. and ML for dry and liquid measurements. I purchased a bread machine recipe book and went online to find recipes. Other than that...love the bread that I have been making.

This one is perfect, no damage made beautiful bread
The color is awesome, made very well, I made my favorite pineapple bread and it came out perfect. For those wondering why it's in a sink, my old black bread maker, during its second kneeding, walked/vibrated off the counter and totally smashed on the floor. So to keep this one safe I put it in the sink. It worked perfect, and I didn't hear any vibration from it, but when I use it I will keep in in the sink just in case.

Unless you have x-ray vision…
The instruction book doesn’t tell you a lot on the different functions and stages the bread maker will go through and what to expect each one. But what really gets me is the instruction manual is written in grams. Breadmaking is an exacting science that doesn’t really allow room for error, even an ounce or two. Also the display is so minute I have to literally use a magnifying glass to see the settings, and have a hard time reading them. So far I’ve made a couple of loaves, but I think this is going to be a hit and miss operation with this machine . Please consider other brands and models that have a bigger display and I’ve written their manuals and American measures (if you live in the United States).

Good value
Works extremely well and makes excellent bread in about 3 hours depending on the darkness. Comes with quite a few recipes in the manual.

Here's the deal....
This is a very affordable, lightweight and attractive unit, but here’s the deal. If you’re in the US, this is not the optimal bread baker for you. If you think you can “get by” because you’ve used one before, think again. I’ve used them since the 80’s when they first came out in an affordable form, and I still had problems. If you think you’ll get “help” from the manual, you should know that it’s obviously written by someone whose 1st language isn’t English. Not all words with a similar meaning can be used to say what you want. However, it does make it entertaining for the purchaser to try to figure it out. Like Wordle? Go for it! If you want to know how I know this, I tried to learn Arabic. My Egyptian friends told me I spoke tiffle Araby, baby Arabic. While a manual written in baby English is quaint, cute, funny, a good try, it doesn’t help much with learning to work with this machine. Also, anyone who knows anything about the US knows we stubbornly refuse to convert to metric. We’re a difficult people and like being “different.” That said, most of us have only learned metric in high school, some of us continued to use it in college, and some of us used it professionally. The numbers dwindle at each level of education. I used it as a nurse in a hospital, but I find it difficult to manage baking and a calculator at the same time—I’m 75, that’s old and a long way from high school. The book does make an attempt to accommodate us, though, it sometimes uses pounds. It just doesn’t use it anywhere that helps! Either someone is making an effort to point out metric-lessness, as if we had somehow missed it, or they have a wicked sense of humor! I almost wish I could meet him/her. It’d be a riot.My biggest complaint is that there seems to be no way of resetting the machine. I accidentally ended up programing for a 750 gm loaf when I wanted the largest loaf, probably 1500 gm. Despite frantically searching in the instructions for a way to correct this mistake, all I could find was a recommendation to press “stop/start” once and unplug the machine. After 5 tries, it was still set on 750 gm. I ended up removing the carrier with its ingredients and letting the machine “bake” for about 3.5 hours with nothing in it.Which is why I know the last little detail. At least bereft of its baking pan, the machine sounds like your neighbors are using a combine harvester to mow their front lawn! But it does transport you. I live on the 7th floor of a 23-story apartment building in the middle of a large city, but already I’m worried about hay fever season!
