Works great
Nice replacement for my Honeywell valve that became permanently stuck open. Easy to install.

Honeywell HE280a
Other reviews were unclear as to whether this would work with the Honeywell HE280a whole house humidifier. It works great! At 20% of the price of OEM, this is a great value. I don't yet know about it's reliability, but after having to replace the OEM solenoid every 12-18 months (we have very hard water), I was willing to give it a shot.It IS louder than the OEM solenoid (clicks on and off), but since it is in the basement, that's not an issue for us. It also allows substantially more water flow when open, however, also not an issue b/c you can just adjust the flow to the device from the saddle valve. I expect that both of these attributes (water flow and sound) are evidence of a more powerful valve that may be less prone to failure. I'll update this review if/when it fails!

HE280 Modified but should work
Picture shows the two 90 deg tabs that were used for the original solenoid that I cut off. I needed to reuse that bracket for the 24VAC/pressure sensor white thing on the right, so I just clamped the bracket with this new solenoid.I wish there were any instructions on selecting the fitting and how to use with different type of tubing since I don't know off the top of my head. Also screw you honeywell for using allen and torx and phillips screws all in the same area haha.

Fits Skuttle 55-UD
For the Skuttle 55-UD: after removing mounting bracket, the solenoid valve fits like the original and works, no changes to fittings required. You do have to remove the pan/bottom cover from the unit in order to remove the fittings, and be sure to save the orifice (and probably clean with a .05mm drill bit--I used this item from Amazon--Mtsooning 10PCS 0.5mm Micro Straight Shank Twist Drill. I don't think a driver would be necessary, just push the shank of the drill through the orifice to knock out deposits. Using anything larger will likely result in wasting a lot of water.)Also, reinstalling the fittings before putting the pan back up will save a bit of trouble in refitting the orifice.

Almost a perfect fit....
Pump was the right size but does not come with correct metering jet (input side) for the Honeywell 365, 32001876-001. Had to clean and re-use the old one.

Absolute junk
Valve works for a little while then water flow stops despite good voltage to it, if i smack it, it will start flowing again for a few minutes then stops again. Save your money and time and dont buy this

Good reliable replacement part.
Bought this to replace the dead, clogged solenoid valve for our very old furnace humidifier. Installation is pretty straightforward, and the kit is universal so it should have everything you need for just about any installation. Has been going just fine for three cold seasons, now.

The solenoid failed after 1 days use.
The solenoid worked for a day and them it stopped. I had checked the voltage and it was 24 as it should be.
