the boots are super light weight! Fit great and very comfy! However I will have the widen my spurs to wear them to ride. Really like the boots! The arch support is great for me. I can not wear shoes with little or no arch support, but cant wear those with very high support either.

Just too large. I read the reviews before I purchased which advised the shoes run large. I like room in the toe box when I ride so I went ahead and purchased my size 7. They were even too large with my heavy winter socks. They are beautiful and, true to Ariat's reputation, are very well made. I have ordered 1/2 size smaller. I really hate having to make a decision on how many stars when I haven't been able to actually wear these shoes. I find that many reviewer take off stars for something as simple as color and it affects the review percentages. I've learned to read the reviews instead of counting on the percentage of total stars given by reviewers. The half size smaller fit perfectly

Very solid and sturdy short boot. Extremely well made, and it looks like it will endure hiking and rough use for a long time. Attractive detailing too!

I have a wide foot and this gives me a little more room than other boots. Very comfortable and very durable.

I am so thrilled with these shoes! I wore them all across Europe this summer as walking shoes, and they broke in over the course of the first day. Now I'm using them as barn shoes, when I'm not wearing my tall boots, and they are so comfortable! I can do chores all day, clean stalls, haul water, or whatever else comes up. I've ridden in them a few times when I was away and didn't have my other boots, and they are actually more comfortable than my paddock boots. I'm taking them to a 30-mile Endurance race next week, and I have no doubt that I'll be comfortable and well-served.I would highly recommend these boots; you won't regret it!

Great fix, comfortable, sturdy

I have been wearing Ariat paddock boots for horseback riding for years and love the fit and comfort, so thought I would try these for hiking. They are great - very comfortable and plenty of room for my toes. I wore them on several long hikes (+10 miles each) in the southwest over the summer, and did not get any blisters or rubs. They are a little warm, since they are leather and water proof, but that doesn't bother me and is a bonus in the winter.

Ordered a size 7 but they fit like a size 8. TOO big and loose. I have been wearing this brand and style of Ariat for years. I think the size was mismarked. Price was good so I kept them and wear 2 pair of socks.

Die gelieferten Stiefeletten waren - wie von Ariat gewohnt - in einer super Qualität. Allerdings wurde nicht die bestellte Größe 39,5 EU = 8,5 US geliefert, sondern 37,5 EU = 7 US. Der Fehler liegt offensichtlich in der hinterlegten Größentabelle beim Angebot, wo man anhand der EU-Größe bestellt. Daher gehen die Schuhe leider zurück.

Very comfortable. I've had two pairs of Telluride H2O before as I needed them for riding and dog walking. They were comfortable and kept my feet completely dry and warm no matter what water I walked through and lasted about 5 years each pair. As I no longer ride I decided to buy this version of ariat boots which were a little cheaper but still waterproof (or so the blurb said!) The first time I went walking in the rain, my socks got completely soaked around the front of my foot. They are not waterproof at all. It seems I have bought (waterproof???) walking boots that I can only wear when it's dry!! I'm now going to have to buy the usual H2O more expensive pair. Steer clear of these unless you want a comfortable summer walking boot!
