Columbia Women's Benton Springs Full Zip

This is a really nice quality thick fleece jacket. I would recommend sizing up if you want to wear anything other than a thin shirt underneath. I usually wear a M in tops but an XL in this jacket fits best over my wide hips. A classic for a reason, this fleece jacket will keep you warm in pretty cold temps. I love it.

This item is a great color. I purchased for my daughter who loves it... then I got one for myself. I broke my foot and lost my original jacket somehow, so I recently purchased a second one for me in this specific color. I love it and I highly recommend this jacket. It is a great bargain for the price! I would definitely buy again!

Comparing my measurements to the size chart was amusing. My three measurements had me in three different sizes, so I figured I would just order a small and a medium and see which one fit better. Both in charcoal gray.See my photos. The small was larger than the medium (the photo of me shows me wearing the medium zipped up with the small worn over it, looking quite long). They were different shades of gray with somewhat different textures. The medium was made in Vietnam, the small was made in Bangladesh. Some other minor differences with the zippers and logo. Since the small was way too big, I returned it. The medium was still a little bigger than I would have liked, but I decided to keep it because it was good enough and I didn’t see any point in trying to order a small again. I suspect a properly sized small would have been just right, but oh well.With that being said, I’ve been living in this jacket since I got it. I was replacing what I think was the same Columbia jacket, which I’d been wearing for 8 years and which was starting to look pretty worn. This new one is fluffy and warm. I liked the shade of gray on the doomed small better, but this one is okay. The interior pockets might be the best feature. Order this jacket, but cross your fingers for a proper size!

I was looking for a lightweight jacket that would work for the cool weather of Spring and Fall. I am 5'2" and usually wear an X-Small or Small in a t-shirt depending on the brand. In most jeans, I wear a size 1. I really liked the burgundy color in this jacket, so I ordered a size small.Although the small fit, I didn't think it would work as a jacket - wanted something a bit looser. So, I decided to order this jacket in a medium. The replacement fit more like a jacket, which is what I wanted. I returned the size small and kept the medium. The pictures are me in the size medium. When choosing size to buy, there are a couple of things to consider. If you plan to wear it as a light jacket over a t-shirt, your normal size will work fine - especially if you plan to leave it unzipped. The sleeves are not snug at all and a little long for me, but fit comfortably with elastic at the wrist. The inside pockets are large enough to carry a cell phone, a checkbook, or a wallet. If you plant to wear this as a jacket and especially if you plan to keep anything in the inside pockets while zipped, it would be a good idea to order one size up. Anything in the pockets will show bulges on the outside if you order your normal size and zip the jacket. It isn't fitted at the waist, but that's one of the things I like about it. When it isn't zipped, it doesn't flare out around the hips. The jacket also has a drawstring at the bottom if you want to pull it in at the hips.So, what do I love about this jacket?1) Very soft and lightweight, yet warm.2) Can be worn as a jacket for chilly weather outdoors or inside in the winter when the house is cool.3) Has 2 zippered pockets on the outside large enough to keep a wallet or small essentials.4) Has 2 deep pocket on the inside to carry a cell phone checkbook, wallet, or other items of similar size.5) It doesn't have a hood which can get in the way if you have long hair, and really isn't necessary indoors or in mild weather. 6) The collar stays down and does not have to be up around the neck. 7) The zipper works great and is not at all stiff or hard to zipper.I initially bought the Bark color, which is dark brown, to figure out the size I liked best. Since I like this jacket so much, I put 4 more colors on my wish list for Christmas - rich wine (burgundy), charcoal heather (dark grey), burnt orange (can't find color name), and a medium grey (can't find color name). My husband bought all of them probably thinking I would return a couple of them. I love them all and they go with different outfit colors. So I kept them all.In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this jacket. I hope this review was helpful for you. I will update it if my opinion changes.

I purchased this exact same fleece from a Columbia store a few years ago. I really liked it but have recently lost weight and needed a smaller size, so I took a risk and ordered it here on amazon because the price was right. I was so pleased when it arrived (dark raspberry) that I immediately ordered another one (velvet cove). Both sweaters are "true to color" - they look the same in person as they did in the product listing. I especially like the dark raspberry, it is a beautiful color.I am 5'3" and weigh about 160 pounds. I ordered both sweaters in size large. I like a baggier fit and these fit the bill perfectly. I can comfortably put a long sleeved thermal top underneath these sweaters and still be able to move around without restriction. If you prefer a more "fitted" fit - haha - I would suggest that if your body is shaped like mine you go for a medium. These fleece sweaters do fit true to size.These sweaters are genuine Columbia products. They're soft and warm, but lightweight. I LOVE the zippered pockets (perfect for cell phones and keys!) and I like that they zip up to my chin. I wear these sweaters all the time in winter - they're cuddly and warm and soft and comfortable.I absolutely recommend this fleece by Columbia if you're looking for something comfortable, warm and functional. Full stars from me, and I will definitely be ordering more colors.

had to return due to size issue.instructions didn't state the labels needed to be in triplicate (so I was told at the shop)The shop was unable to scan the item. This has never been a problem before with my printer. Perhaps because the label sent to me to print was very small.Can't now return this item.Waste of money.

I bought this for my daughter. It came as planned and it is true to size. A very nice shade of brown as per the picture. What you see is what you get. I recommend it.
