Wish I got this sooner. Slides into vent easily, I put it by the fun adjuster so it holds in secure, doesn't move and is stable driving. Turns on driving mode when I connect my phone to it

AMAZING:This car dock consists as a dock platform that attaches to a ball mount. The ball mount attaches to an air vent (I suppose you could attempt to use the clamp on some surface). You plug the charger into the platform, and (optionally) an auxiliary audio cable. You then let your Moto Mod capable phone attach itself to the platform like any other mod. To unmount, push towards the two tabs, and your phone will pop out of the mount. With practice, you can unmount the phone with one hand without it falling to the floor.I find this setup great. I don't have to fiddle with flaky bluetooth settings to get audio from my phone to my car speakers, and it charges my phone fast.THE CATCH:Although the column connecting the dock platform to the ball mount looks substantial, it is actually physically attached by a small screw that taps into a small and thin stem attached to the platform. This stem will snap off probably in a few days, but you may not notice until something causes a bit more force than usual to cause the platform to fall off.I used J-B Weld Plastic Bonder to reattach the column to the platform, and all seems well so far.UPDATE (Feb 2019):Still holding strong after using J-B Weld Plastic Bonder.

I am so happy I got this! I don't use the vent clips, I imagine it is too heavy to stay stable. I use iSaddle mounting kit to connect to an ISaddle base, works like a charm! Connect so easily, charges as I have the usbc connect to the back of it. Looks seamless, no wires, clean and easy!Would recommend!
