Very nice!
I'm new to leather craft, but I really like this leather! Great color and feel. Can't wait to make something with it!

Not bad!
The leather looks great and has SOME pull up. It doesn't show up unless you really pull the leather tight. Not sure of the finish but I found out that painters tape will completely pull the finish off the leather. The description does say that the finish is delicate and they are right. I'm using the leather to make sneakers and it really is just right in terms of thickness and suppleness.

Bought this for a bike seat leather-working project
I had a lot of fun working on a custom bike seat using this leather. The leather is very sturdy and soft. I used a leather punch and steel wires to construct my bike seat cover. Just a note: the lines seen on the second image are a result of how I used wires to mold the leather. The leather did not come with these lines. It came uniformly clean looking. I would recommend this material if you want something that is durable, comfortable, and ideal for crafting!

Not Tooling Leather but Still Great Quality
This leather is known as a Stone Oil type. It has kind of a wax finish. It is not a tooling leather. But still very nice.

*PLEASE READ* In depth AND brief leather review
If you are taking a QUICK GLANCE, read the belowIf you are taking an IN DEPTH LOOK, read the one labeled “In Depth”*Quick glance* - The leather is inaccurate to what the manufacturer. It’s a top grain leather that smells terrible and doesn’t match the photo. *Assumption* - It’s likely to be much brighter and discolored than the product image.*In depth* - There are multiple things wrong with this leather and they really boil down to 3 categories: Color, leather type, and smell. (Continue reading below)Color: The leather I’ve purchased was “Dublin Brown” and the color is completely different to the product picture shown, EXCEPT for one photo. The leather more resembles the “Tan” leather that they also sell. Perhaps it’s because it’s the result of leather patina (Darkening of leather due to age and frequent use). While the color was consistent, it’s clear that this isn’t supposed to be this color. This will be important in the smell category.Leather Type: The product description is inaccurate to what it claims the leather to be. The leather claims to be “full grain tooling leather” yet it’s actually top grain leather. This matters since top grain is weaker than full grain because a significant layer was removed. This may explain the cheap price point (to what real full grain leather actually costs), and the consistent color. Full grain leather shows the damage the cow sustained and this is far *too perfect* to be full grain. Fortunately, the one good thing about this is that the leather is actually real.Smell: Conventional mass market leather tanning involves chemicals to dye the leather to the proper color. The smell from the leather I purchased clearly indicates this as it emits a strong chemical smell. Usually this is normal with RECENTLY TANNED leather. However, manufacturers typically let the leather age a little bit to rid of the smell before shipping to customers.Overall, I can’t recommend this leather. It is completely inaccurate to what the manufacturer claims the leather is. To credit the manufacturer, it is actually real and genuine leather and is completely usable. However, it’s misleading description makes it highly inadvisable to order it.

Nice product
Very nice product, it does scuff a bit. But that might be expected with the color. I'm still learning about leather so I might be able to treat it to minimize the marks.

Beautiful Leather for Crafting!
CONTEXTI am a calligrapher, so I needed to get some leather to make a sign for a photoshoot. Living in Hawaiʻi, my options are very limited and expensive, so I turned to Amazon and found this.PROS- BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL!!! Obviously, it's tough to tell with anything when you buy it online, but there is absolutely nothing to worry about with this. It is a gorgeous color.- Quality is 100. It's thick and durable and doesn't scratch easily. By that, I mean I have worked with other "craft" leather that if I accidentally run my nail over it, would scratch the surface (hope that makes sense). Not the case with this leather.- Easy to work with! It took a couple of passes with me Exacto blade, but I didn't mind the extra elbow grease.CONS- As I said, it took a little bit of extra elbow grease to cut through the leather with my top-notch Exacto blade, so I could see that as being a negative to some people. It bothered me at first, but when I changed my blade it wasn't really an issue.OVERALLI love this leather! In my opinion, it is worth every dollar. I used mine to make hanging straps for a sign, but also ended up making a little key chain holder. I plan on making a lanyard with it as well and know I will still have a lot left over for more projects. Highly recommend this product... don't even hesitate about buying it.

Very nice color
This leather is very nice. Shipped quickly. It doesn't have the final finish for shine and can be scratched easily. I need a millimeter thicker to make a good knife sheath though
