Not bad, but it could have been better.
Luftwaffe Squadrons by Chris Bishop is and ok book in the field of the german air force organization in WWII. But is confussing at times. The large number of profiles are over all good but many are taken from other publications and they suffer in the color deparment. There is very few things here that you are not going to find in other more elaborate and sometimes cheaper books. Is good for the novice, but no more than that.

Love it
Came in perfect condition and very quickly, and was exactly what I was looking for! My fiancé is obsessed with WWII planes, I was able to research some of his favourites and surprise him with my knowledge when one day I popped into his studio and stated how much I liked the Stuka painting he was working on

Good Starter Book
A small book that details the operational formations of the Luftwaffe. I found it interesting, but leaving me wanting more. For a modeller, it is a start. For the historian, it leaves you wanting. I recommend to those simply interested in a general overview.

Great book on Luftwaffe Squadrons, found what I was looking, had a old Luftwaffe squadron news paper dated 1938 with unit markings L1 (German Cross) R42 T, was a training squadron during WW II.

A good book, but not as detailed as the title suggests
I purchased this book looking for a source of colors and markings of Luftwaffe combat squadrons during their various years in service during the war. While a fair amount of information is covered, it was less than I hoped for. Had I been able to preview enough of the book, I may have looked for something more complete.

History of WW2 Lutwaffe squadrons throught the war.
This was exactly as I expected and a welcome addition to my collection. Colour line drawings of specific ww2 aircraft attached to each squadron in a specific theatre of battle from a side-on view. Very detailed. Some black and white photos of the planes in action alongside. History of specific squadron and command structure. I recommend this book as an invaluable guide for historians and modellers.

Excellent source book
This is an excellent source book on the Luftwaffe with clear chapters on each stage of the air campaigns, details on both planes and squadrons and excellent illustrations. An essential book for those who want to know more about the Luftwaffe and their structure. Brilliant photos and colour plates
