Stanley 028001L 28-Inch Structural Foam Toolbox

OK, first you need to take into consideration the size limitations. It is a large toolbox but it does not have infinite storage capacity. It is a tough toolbox. I plan around the size and don't overfill it. I have four and just ordered another this morning for my Schumacher trickle charger.I keep all of my trucking and "get out of trouble" gear in them. I daisy lock them together with a Master cable lock.Tire changing gear, tie down straps, battery charging gear, extension cords, jumper cables, tire repair kits, air compressor, standard set of tools and other stuff. What I like about the boxes is I can locate the box with my tire repair kit, for example, remove just that tool box from the truck instead of rummaging around in a bigger, hard-mounted truck tool box looking for all of the tools I need.The boxes are also sturdy enough to set on the ground to help me reach into the bed of my truck or get up into the truckbed.And the price is very good. One of my best purchases. I don't write reviews unless the product deserves it - good or bad.

We are a big fan of Stanley products. When the opportunity to purchase this 28 inch toolbox came to our attention, we couldn't pass on the offer. Its large enough to keep all your basic tools all in one convenient space. This toolbox is very sturdy, the latches are solid and rust free and we love the water seal yellow stripe all around the toolbox that makes it air and water tight preventing moisture getting into your tools.This is a great and affordable investment to keep ALL your tools stored and organized.Will definitely consider purchasing a second one in the near future.UPDATE:=======On 05/11.2019, we purchased a second fat max toolbox. We not have one for our basic tools and use another one for our auto parts and tools. This 28 inch tool box is very spacious and remarkably holds a lot of items in it. Its also very easy to transport from one job to the other or to be set aside in your work shop, storage unit or tool shed. If business grows, a third or fourth one may be purchased. A must have item for any DIYer.

I purchased this for my husband who is constantly outgrowing his smaller toolboxes. The box is quite a good size and the construction is very thick plastic which seems sturdy. The organiser on top works well for keeping smaller things easily accessible and the fact that it covers only half the box leaves space for larger items to fit. The only issue my husband has is that it doesn’t offer any small, covered organiser boxes for small screws, nails and so on.
