Supreme Ruler Cold War

The game itself is a great idea, but so poorly executed that it's nearly impossible to play after units start getting deployed. Nuclear weapons are under powered, the menus are not intuitive, all in all it feels like a very ambitious iPad game made by my 16 year old nephew with a Ritalin and Adderol problem.Had they bothered to even put in a tutorial it would have helped greatly. As is they have an unofficial Youtube series of how to videos that are too short to be useful and too long to be easily digestible. The coding burns up system resources at a rate usually reserved for refinery fires and white phosphorus. I loved the original Super Power they made, but everything since has been pretty half assed

Paradox interactive never fails you just have to try this game to understand it fully for $10 its well worth it! Once you get the hang of it look into cheats for some more fun like what if mexico became a nuclear power and challenged the US leaving the soviet union out of it or the US joins the soviet union can the rest of the world stop their combined forces etc.

Great RTS of the Cold War, but it is very detailed and you do need a good graphics card. Wish there were more

The game's graphics don't always show up. They are blurred and not Clearlake the disk is copied or damaged. Game play is fine and I have had one time when graphics were clear but have no idea why this has only hsppened once.

I have a partial Supreme Ruler collection and this was one of the last in the series. Now I have complete set.

Very difficult to play

Als alter Hearts of Iron Fan hab ich mir schon immer eine ähnliches Spiel zur Zeit des kalten Krieges gewünscht.Auch wenn mich die Screenshots von diesem Spiel erstmal abgeschreckt haben, habe ich mich aufgrund des günstigen Preises doch dafür entschieden. HOI ist ja auch nicht unbedingt ein Augenschmaus ;-)Nach kurzer Spielzeit muss ich jedoch sagen, dass das Interface so unübersichtlich und die Steuerung sowas von umständlich ist, dass ich wirklich entnervt aufgegeben habe. Auch wer wirklich komplexe Strategiespiele wie eben Hearts of Iron, Europa Universalis o.ä. gewohnt ist wird hier keinen Spaß mit haben.Kleiner Hinweis noch für diejenigen die trotzdem bestellen wollen: Auch die UK Version ist vollständig auf Deutsch spielbar

Three stars as I found it really quite boring. Im into this genre in a big way but this game doesn't have that little spark I was looking for.

Not for me...If you like massively over managing things and have mild OCD when it comes to gaming then this line of games is for you... I like stategy games but this was a bit far for me, honestly very very very very very very very very complicated. But if that's what you're into go nuts!One star from me as it's not what I thought it would be and didn't enjoy it at all.
