No noticeable signal loss or coloration
Works great. Toslink from PC sound card, to splitter, to 4 amplifiers. Both the inputs and the input switch are confirmed as functional, but in service I am only using one. No noticeable signal loss or coloration. I am only using 6ft fiber - they claim up to 100ft with no loss. It is too light in weight to stay put, so I had to double sided tape it to the back of my amp rack. The gear it *used to* run with:Griffin Technology Powermate USB Multimedia Controller (also reviewed)Koss Pro-4AA headphones (also reviewed)Sony MDR-v6 headphones (also reviewed)Creative SoundBlaster Zx (also reviewed)Qty4 Sony STR-HD550 (also reviewed) via Specialty A/V 2x4 amplified TosLink splitter (also reviewed)Sony STR-HD130 (also reviewed) via analog 1/8" to RCA from a 2nd sourceSeismic Audio BMG-4000 (also reviewed, and soon to be replaced)Qty6 VM Audio EX-WOD6 6.5" 3-way (also reviewed)Qty2 VM Audio EX-WOD8 8" 2-way (also reviewed)Qty2 Klipsch Pro Media 3" 2-wayQty3 Behringer B1500HP 2200w 15" sub (also reviewed)Qty2 VM Audio VAS12SUB 12" sub (also reviewed)Sony SA-W2500 10" sub (also reviewed)

Very Satisified
First one had a loose power connection. Vender quickly and painlessly replaced it and the new one works flawlessly. I truly love it and use it every day to pipe my Blu-Ray, Cable, Internet radio and other to my Bluetooth speakers or headphones. Superb connection with great sound. Good buy and great vendor.

Works perfectly
Works as expected. Perfect for my set up. This is the second one I have purchased. The first ones power supply stopped working. Stupidly I didn’t realise it was just the power supply until I got the new one. A new power supply (5v mini usb like for a cell phone) would have cost about $5. Oh well I now have a spare splitter.

Works great. As some others have noted
Works great. As some others have noted, you have to manually click the blue circle in the image to switch between sources. This is such a minor inconvenience, but is still something to consider.

I recommend it!
Working as hoped - lets me tie together BluRay player, TV, Soundbar, and an external amp with headphone jack. I recommend it!

No good for 96kHz
Looking for a TOSLINK splitter which is able to handle 96kHz sample rate at 24 bits. This unit produces a horribly distorted signal, like the other, cheaper ones I've tried. Perhaps it's OK for lower sample rates, but it does NOT perform at 96k, as advertised.

Works with my LG and Sennheiser
I have a LG smart TV, I also have Sennheiser headphones and a external speaker. So, I needed and optical splitter. I set the TV audio to PCM, was using a J-Tech splitter and I got a lot of audio drop outs on my Sennheisers. I took a chance and tried this one. NO drop outs, everything is good.
