I'm using these on plastic bins I bought to organize my pantry. At first I thought they looked more like a purple-ish brown than black, but after I put them on the bins they somehow look more black to me. They stick VERY WELL to plastic. I messed up the labels on a couple bins and had to remove them and it was difficult to get them off and they left some paper stuck to the bin. It didn't matter since I was putting another label right over the same spot, but these are definitely permanent labels as the description says! Don't expect to be able to move them around. Once they're stuck they're stuck and you have to destroy it to remove it. Overall I'm pleased with my purchase and would recommend.

What can I say about labels ... either they stick or they don't (these do) and they take ink ok so you can write on them or they don't (these do). The color I got was fluorescent pink; they are bright enough to be easy to spot, but not so dark that you have to squint to try to read what's written on them. They've been sticking fine so far, but it's probably a bit too early to tell how good the adhesive is going to hold for the long term (the true test is when you check your boxes in storage 6 months later ... in the past, have had the labels pretty much all curl up and fall off). Time will tell on that one.

I purchased various colors to mark my moving boxes. When to moving truck pulls up to drop off your stuff it helps to speed up the process when the movers can place the boxes in the correct room. Yellow for kitchen, blue for living room, etc. I put labels on all sides of the boxes. It helps when you have to sign off on the move, and I can go through each room and say yep, my count was five boxes for the office, six for the kitchen, etc. I have moved several times and I'm getting better at it.
