I expected this jacket's fabric to be a little more substantial for the price. I'm 5'7" and slender but have long arms. I ordered the medium and the sleeves are quite long, even on me, but that will be good for warmth and comfort. I took in the waist about a half-inch in two places in the back because this fits me a tad loose in the waist area and I wanted that defined shape like the photo shows.I also double-sewed the buttons so I would be less likely to lose one since there are no extras. Before my trip, I ironed it (to flatten where I had taken in the waist in the back) and sprayed the jacket with Scotchguard so it would better repel rain and dirt. I wore this jacket almost daily during my recent trip overseas, at times folding it up and shoving it in a carry bag, and it held out like a champ and didn't take up much room at all! Looking back at my photos, I feel that this jacket added some class to my sightseeing outfits, which were more aimed at comfort than style.When I got home from my trip, I took a chance and threw this jacket (turned inside out) in the laundry along with my other dark clothes. After a wash and dry cycle, I took it out and it held up fine. I'm going to spiff it up with another ironing and spray it again with Scotchguard so I can keep it sharp-looking. Based on how this jacket held up and looked, maybe it is worth $49.

Great jacket initially but it linted up very quickly. I wish there was a way to remove the little lint balls/ material knotted appearance the material creates but after a wash or a moderate amount of wear the jacket appears old and a bit ragged pretty quickly.

This is truly a great jacket. Nothing cheap as some other reviews suggest. The only complaint I have and why I'm giving the review 4/5 stars is that the arms are really long. I checked a local tailor shop and it will cost $25 to have them shortened. Not sure if I want to spend $75.00 with the alterations. For this jacket...still deciding.

Years ago, I had this thin military jacket that looked very similar to this that I bought from Target. I was so upset when I lost it, and that I've been trying to find one to replace it with. While this one is a little more on the thicker side (it feels like a nice fitted sweater), the quality was a lot better in comparison to I had years ago. I was also debating whether to get this one or not because it didn't look black enough in the picture shown, it looked more faded as if it were a more washed out black. Suffice to say that it was a lot darker when I received it - which by the way, I got it before the expected delivery dates, which were supposed to be between February 14th - March 4th, and I had purchased this on January 18th. I also agree with the lady below - it's a great look. It's both a little out of the ordinary, but you won't be looked at as a goth wearing it out. I stand about 5 ft, but the sleeves are nicely ribbed to where it isn't loose that I'd have to pin them back, or too tight to be uncomfortable. I'm overall pleased with the length, and the service. I can see myself purchasing more from Patty Boutique.

I ordered this product and got it super fast, took only a week to be shipped and received it today. It fits very well, I did read review's before purchasing because I wanted to make sure I was getting a great product and I have received just that, I got a small size also as to what the reviews pointed out about how the sizes run, but by reading those review's I now have a very nice and quite perfect military inspired jacket that I will love forever; oh and it is very comfortable to wear not to mention looks absolutely amazing to wear as well. This is my go to favorite light jacket. It goes with everything. It's comfortable. It looks nice yet is casual. I get so many compliments when I wear this jacket. Whenever it wears out, I'll be sure to buy it again.

I was looking for a military style lightweight jacket to wear on cool days/nights. I love the weight of the fabric, it's perfect. At first, my impression of the jacket was "Michael Jackson". As long as I keep the zipper mid-rise (like model), it looked less "Beat It". I purchased an XL since I teeter between a LG and XL (I'm 5'4 and curvy). It's really difficult for me to find fitted jackets to accommodate my DDD chest but this fit perfectly! Love the extra long, cuffed sleeves. For the price, the zipper is really cheap. It didn't zip smoothly and I had to be careful not to damage the teeth. For that, I only gave 4 stars, otherwise it's a nice jacket and I'm happy with purchase.

I love this jacket. The amply long sleeves are definitely a plus, since I'm 6'0". I bought an XL and it fits perfectly. It's a stretchy enough fabric that it doesn't feel tight, but it's also fitted enough to hug in the right places. This is a lightweight jacket, so it's not winter-warm, but it's great for throwing in a bag if you think it might get cooler at night. Very happy with my purchase.
