The sun is viewed in a natural yellowish-orange image. The filter can be used for direct viewing through the telescope or for photography. It will fit a telescope with a tube end (opposite the eyepiece) diameter of 3 3/8"(86mm) to 3 1/8"(79mm). You can measure the diameter of the end of your telescope to see if this filter will fit.
