Lynn (Men of Honor, book 2) was like a slice of sweet, heavenly bliss!!This passionate, angst-ridden, achingly tender romance between “Sexy Sawyer” and his “Cupcake” gave me goosebumps, warm, gooey feels and heart palpitations throughout!I was GIDDILY anticipating this book because I fell in love with Sawyer’s over-confident, good-natured charm, trademark panty droppin’ smirk and flirty, larger than life persona in FIGHTING TEMPTATION. But this novel proves this hunky ex-Navy Seal is FAR MORE than Jaxson, Cade and Coop’s smart-aleck sidekick. Sure he is playful and boyishly sexy and OOZES charisma, but deep down at the core, he is a ferocious Man of Honor through and through!Sawyer is strong and noble, unflinchingly loyal, and FIERCELY protects his own. Especially when it comes to sweet and sassy Grace...the beautifully beleaguered waitress/scrumptious pie baker who miraculously managed to tame this former ladies man! And as I have mentioned before, the author writes the sweetest heroines! I adore Grace's beautiful, kind and loving heart, her sultry southern accent, her courage and resilience—amid unspeakable pain and loss—and her INCREDIBLE capacity for compassion and forgiveness!These two have a delightful chemistry and sure have their obstacles to overcome. Gah! My heart hurt so hard for all that both of them had gone through, especially poor Grace who never seemed to catch a break! Through the course of the novel, Grace and Sawyer have a lot to work out--yet they never let their issues break them apart, even when it's hard. In fact, one of my favorite things about this couple is how they face their problems head on, often with charm and humor, which is incredibly refreshing! Grace and Sawyer are truly perfect for each other in every way, and this darling duo proves that LOVE DOES INDEED CONQUER EVIL!! Oh and did I mention how FILTHY HOT this book is? Well, it bears repeating!!!Overall, I thought K.C. Lynn did an OUTSTANDING job with SWEET TEMPTATION. She sure can write sensually-charged, drama-packed page-turners with hot, dominant, FEROCIOUSLY protective Alphas and feisty, homespun heroines that yank at the heartstrings like no one’s business! I laughed, cried, shivered, shrieked and swooned throughout!!But I did downgrade half a star because while I thought the story was hyper sexy, emotionally riveting and highly entertaining from start to finish, something happened with Sawyer a third of the way in that tarnished his heroic appeal a smidgen in my eyes. Though thankfully he made proper amends and honestly there is not much this handsome charmer could really ever do to make me stop lovin’ him! He is just so DANG IRRESISTIBLE even when he does jerky things!Ultimately, this book captivated my heart, with a gasp-worthy climax that left me reeling, leading up to a HEA ending that was so HEARTWRENCHINGLY BEAUTIFUL it made me weep with joy!Men of Honor is quickly becoming my fave small-town hero series of ALL TIME, and after that OMG teaser for RESISTING TEMPTATION in the epilogue, I can’t wait to plunge right into book 3. But admittedly with a bit of trepidation because I know Cade’s story is gonna wreck me…in the best possible way of course!

Oh my heck, oh my heck, oh MY HECK! I really, really liked this story! What did I like about it? Well, Sawyer is super laid back, sexy, cocky and a horn dog. Yes, these are all fairly normal things for romance heroes to be, but with Sawyer, it's just... more. *laugh* We met him & Grace in book one of this series, Fighting Temptation. Sawyer has a thing for Grace from the minute he sees her (or, to hear him tell it, even before that). But, he is of course a player, and so Grace shies away.They become friends, but ya know, friends who are attracted to each other & who really want more. And it's looking like their sweet little friendship-to-romance story is going to slip in fairly easily. And then, Grace says something she doesn't mean, exactly, Sawyer does something stupid, and hearts are pretty well ripped up.This part is very well written, doesn't annoy me because the author does a good job of setting it up & explaining what each character is thinking, and (my favorite) DOESN'T LAST FOREVER. We get the Sawyer & Grace are working on a relationship & banding together to fight outside forces portion of the story for most of the book. *swoons*I enjoyed the first book (enough to want to read this one right away after it, even tho it was 3AM when I finished FT), but I ADORED this one. The things Grace has been through, how we get to know Sawyer's family, the friendships w/in their circle of friends... it all works very well together.And CHRISTMAS! Christmas is at the end, and it is amazing, and it made me smile HUGE! 10++ stars for this story (even tho there is a LOT of sex bc Sawyer is a horn dog as mentioned LOL) and I will soon be getting the PB (happy dance) and it is going on my favorites/re-read shelf. : )

I read some of the comments that discouraged against this book and I don't agree. I understand that Sawyer about 20% in the book makes a poor decision however I believe he makes up for it throughout the book. Grace and Sawyer definitely belong together. Her sweetness balanced out his arrogance which is in no way a slight on Sawyer. I enjoyed how he saw himself but in reading more of what he went through in the military and with his dad then it all makes sense. Don't pass on this book. Definitely worth the read!

Sweet Temptation was literally just that! So much sweetness rolled into a ton of temptation! Sawyer and Grace's story far outlived any thought I had on how their story would be. Its filled to the brim with all the makings of a perfect pie . . . That hits all your senses and brings so many emotions with each chapter. I loved it all!This series is amazing, not just because I love a bit of military, but because K.C. Lynn has a way to make a story hit all the pieces of your heart. There is so much sweetness, followed by some bitter pieces, love and friendship, and always those twists that leave you gasping for air. MOH will give you everything you want in a read, but this Sweet Temptaion is one of my faves . . . Maybe its the pie . . . Either way, it's worth reading and rereading because Grace's broken heart makes the healing so much better with Sawyer and all his sexy shenanigans!So just a tid bit at this story . . . Grace is the lonely and shy girl in town that has a hidden past. Sawyer is yet another SEAL from the team that had one horrific week overseas that made him tough, protective, and in need of love from the right woman. When Sawyer sees Grace, well he's a goner . . . But Grace doesn't love easily. And like any HEA, you will get there, but there is a whole lot of work before you get to that perfect, one of a kind, heart swelling, kind of end. But its oh so worth it! So grab yourself a warm piece of pie, a hot cup of tea, and suggle up for a book you will not want to put down! Its that deliciously tempting!!

I saw this recommended and read without reading the first book. The writing was seamless and heartfelt. I was immediately drawn into their story and couldn’t put it down.

5 ‘Sexy Sawyer” Stars 🧁💕I absolutely love Grace and Sawyers story. I think I feel in love with them and their story from the very first glimpse we got of them.I love not just them as individuals, and they are perfectly flawed characters, but how they are as a couple. While their story has such heartache, especially for Grace, I loved how Sawyer was able to put a smile on her face even in times of sadness and fear and by how just being around him gave her more confidence in not only herself but to stand up for Sawyer.I loved Sawyer and his charming and protective ways 😍I loved Grace’s kindness and good heart and how she would call Sawyer up and not let his ego lead the way.I will never not love this series and all the wonderful characters who show what real family and love mean

Grace was puking sweet and so childish and naive. Hero could do whatever he wanted and she was there for it. Although pretty good sex scenes.

Sweet baby Jesus this book is incredible! Never have I highlighted so many parts in a book, I am calling these "the sweet spots". I will reread these parts over and over for a long time! So swoony!! This book was everything I knew it was going to be, and so much more. It was so well written, it played on my heart strings all the while maintaining the ability to have oh so many hot hot hot moments! Jesus Sawyer is friggin sexy! And Grace was such a sweet sweet warrior! I mean how much crap can one person endure? So glad she found her someone;) I was so caught up in the characters, the beautiful writing and truly mega hot sex that I found myself actually stalling to read it as I was not wanting to finish it too fast. Cannot wait for Cade's story! Mrs. Lynn is seriously taking over my book loving heart with her incredible stories! I'm such a fangirl! * sigh*
