I love this tea
Full body flavor. Fresh aroma. Great packaging. Multiple brewing flavors. Great quality tea! I’m on my second buy and not stopping. Caffeine is a bit much but not crazy as coffee or some other black teas as I’m pretty sensitive so far warning

DELIGHTED with this Oolong Tea, in every way!!! 12th GALLON, and STILL great Aroma, Color-n-Flavor.
Soon as this arrived, I opened up the Red Container this came in, took a Deep Inhale to get the Aroma, and was very pleased with it. I got my Distilled Water heated up to +195F in my Microprocessor Controlled, Calibrated Tea Kettle, added it to the Oolong Tea Leaves, and allowed to Steep for 3 minutes. After letting it cool down a bit, the color was a Medium Brown, and the Aroma had Earthy Tones, but the best part was the TASTE... it was not too strong, not too weak, and NO BITTERNESS (at all)... it was just right, at the GOLDILOCKS State, and I FELL IN LOVE with it!!! This is a Truly Wonderful Oolong Tea, of Great Value for the Cost/Performance Ratio, and I am VERY PLEASED. This TIAN HU SHAN Premium Oolong Tea Loose Leaf 14 Ounce (400g) is grown in Mainland China, at the 800-meter level altitude (about +2,500ft), so there's no Insects up there, and doesn't require using Pesticides. I consider this a "High Mountain Grown Tea", with all the benefits of that Altitude. It's not THE BEST, but for the Price, it PUNCH'es Way Over It's WEIGHT CLASS!!! This TASuper VALUE price/performance/color/taste. Very Pleased with this Oolong!!! I am now on my 12th GALLON of this TIAN HU SHAN Premium Oolong Tea Loose Leaf, and will be ordering my Next One, very soon. I Love the Metal Container and Plastic Cover Seal, which keeps the Tea FRESH, and Ready to Rock-n-Roll for my next GALLON. I think this is THE BEST Tea you offer, of the four I have tried (still not tried the Pearls, yet, but that one's on my List too!!). This Oolong Tea is, imho, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. v/r "The TEA Spectator" :o)

Less Is More
Do not use too much of this per teapot or you will think you are drinking something else as the smell and taste will be too strong. Using the right amount, for me, about 1 teaspoon gives much better results and tastes a lot like restaurant tea. They give you a good amount, I found it was full to the top and sealed fairly well. Good quality tea, the tea does not have a refreshing smell like others have stated but I don't think it is supposed to as it is a natural Oolong tea. Using the right amount will give you a wonderful tasting tea.

Tasty and quantity
I just got three tea last night, I am happy with the quality and price with this purchase. I was just trying it out because my friend gave me some oolong tea and I liked it, but his tea was expensive and bought at a tea shop. When I got this tea and see how big the container is I was skeptic, but once I brewed this tea, man, this tea does have that strong aroma like other reviewers stated, different than the jasmin teas I got used to but I feel this tea is good to drink on a morning empty stomach as well because of less acidity than green tea. It's definitely soothing and smooth, and I got a whole big can of it! I'm switching my morning routine over to oolong!

Good value - great taste
So I ran out of tea the other day and started to panic. Thanks to amazon I was able to order this and get it the next day. I've always liked Oolong tea, because green tea is too acidic for my stomach, while black tea is often too bitter tasting. Oolong usually strikes the perfect balance for me personally. In case you didn't know, Oolong tea is made from the Camellia sinensis plant, the same plant used to make green & black tea. It's just that Oolong tea is fermented for longer than green tea, but less than black tea. This tea tastes strong, it has a strong aroma, but it isn't bitter. I want to say it has a slight floral note to it. The tea leaves are made with a twist, just like how Oolongs should be. This is definitely good quality premium Oolong tea. I love it, you should give it a try. You also get a lot of tea for the price, so it's great value.

HORRIBLE TEA
I drink many kinds of tea, some of it rare and expensive, some ordinary but of very good quality. Here on Amazon I've purchased Indian Assam Tea and Chinese Oolong. They were both basic but very good products and I reordered the Oolong more than once. But this OOLONG is of exceptionally low quality. Undrinkable. Off tasting. Insipid. Unfortunately, in the same order I also purchased a pound of Darjeeling. Sad to say, it is just as bad.I am embarrassed to return it as it is opened, of course. So I will just throw both the Darjeeling and the Oolong away. And I will never buy tea here on Amazon again.

Broken leaves must mean loose leaf?
When I made this tea for the first time, I was impressed with the amount for the money spent. Afterwards I saw that the tea was broken up leaves. It looks like they sold the whole leaves to someone and put what was left in this beautiful tin container. The taste was a little bitter - I used the western way - steeping five minutes. The color was darker than I expected. What’s wrong with whole leaves? You can buy Lipton tea.
