My father and I have over 2 million miles on serveral vehicles combined and have never ever had a single issue running only Royal purple oil and filters. I have personally tote down 2 motors one Chevy 350 vortec (650000 km) and a Ford 5.4 Triton (420000km) and has been very surprised at the wear considering the milage. All that goes in my 2018 f150 is purple. The Royal purple filters are twice to three times the weight of any other fitler and when you rip them open you will see why. Heavy construction with a very good micron filter rate. Perfect fit on a Ford Edge Duratec with no problems in its use. A bit pricey so shop for the best price.
