The Doctor Who Cures Cancer Paperback – January 6, 2009

This "how to" book is a life-saving breakthrough in cancer treatment -- or rather in cancer CURES -- because that is the crux of Dr. Revici's research and life's work as skillfully recounted by Kelley Eidem.Can diet alone effect a genuine cure? Yep. Pretty much so.Has Dr. Revici been unreasonably reviled by Establishment Medicine? Yep. Viciously so.Does the American Cancer Society really have a clue about cancer CURES? Nope. Not a whisper!Further, ACS gets into fits over non-existent "side effects" imagined by them as a result of Dr. Revici's practically non-invasive treatments. (Silly me. I thought the radiation, chemotherapy and surgery recommended by this august group actually made one a bit uncomfortable! Have I been misinformed?)As I was reading this I was vaguely reminded of Jonas Salk. (I'm barely old enough to remember the family discussions and too old to have gotten the vaccine early enough, though I came through OK.) Salk didn't kill us all, did he? And those pesky side effects resulting from the refusal to acknowledge the value of his work practically killed my aunt.The main point of the book is "AMERICA! WAKE UP! TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR OWN HEALTH!"The author clearly outlines Dr. Revici's philosophy and details some of the specific treatments, including a knockout FOREWARD by an extraordinarily esteemed "establishment" Board Certified Radiation Oncologist. The overwhelming evidence of efficacy using Revici's treatments defies the out-of-hand dismissal slapped down by the American Cancer Society (who went so far as to revile Dr. Revici's book!)Without recommending that the reader embrace the philosophy, Mr. Eidem is advocating to simply level the playing field. One which will permit genuine testing, one which will decry book banning, one which will grant the consumer a choice in his own personal health care.As can be expected there are lots of testimonials. (Too many for me, but I'm able to assess the science with a bit more ease than some might be and the stories are touching and motivating.) That's my only complaint. I'd like to have seen more science included but now I'm motivated to try to get my hands on a copy of the "banned" book, especially since there is no LIST OF REFERENCES other than the Doctor himself.Dr. Revici is deceased now, but there is still an established "clinic" or whatever in New York as I understand it. Apparently, the powers-that-be in Medicine and the FDA just hate it. [The FDA can't manage to stop 'e. coli' laden peanuts from total distribution into our national food supply, but they have guns for intimidating genuine healers!]*One thing that's remarkable is Dr. Revici's editing of the Periodic Chart. (Though I loathed inorganic chemistry, I just love studying the Periodic Chart to this day and now I've a great new perspective!)In any event, there's science enough to force any clear thinking person to at least consider his ideas. On a personal level, I'd certainly opt for Revici's methods -- edited down to a simple diet change -- as the primary level of dealing with cancer. Radiation, chemotherapy and surgery are the most damaging and potentially lethal approaches and need to be relegated to "last resort" status instead of primary status for treatment.This book will at least open your mind to that notion.*That's not in the book ... my own knowledge.

An absolutely AMAZING book. I have never read or heard anything like this before. Dr. Revici was a genius and it is outrageous that the FDA, the pharmaceutical industry and many medical doctors and the JAMA outright lied about him and his treatments. Dr. Revici discovered and patented more than 100 highly effective, non-toxic and inexpensive treatments and cures for dozens of diseases including cancer, AIDS, alcoholism, drug addition, internal bleeding and shock, headaches and everything else you can think of. And this was back in the 1930's and 1940's. Think of the untold suffering and deaths of millions of people taking the highly toxic drugs when there were these extremely effective and extremely safe medicines in existance, but hid to the general public. He literally brought people off their death bed. I encourage everyone to find out everything you can about him and learn of his medicines. Dr. Revici should have many Nobel Prizes, but just like others who discovered safe cures, he was persecuted by the conventional medical industry. We the people need to stand up to these giants by learning what we can about getting healthy with nutrition and other healthy lifestyle choices and not buy their horrible drugs.

This book held my interest to the very last page. The subject of this book was clearly a brilliant, compassionate, humble physician who spent his career helping and healing patients in spite of the battle waged against him by "professionals" whose motives were questionable. This book will open your eyes and teach you some things you may not already know about the cancer treatment business. It may discourage you at times, but it should also encourage and inspire you. I experienced a range of emotions, but mostly I was grateful to have been given a glimpse into the life of a genius who truly cared about others.

Revici is a must read for those who are searching for relief from any degenerative disease. Revici certainly garnered a lot of praise from from his peers. I know of no other doctor that was held in such high esteem. Yet the AMA/Pharma money mongers certainly tried everything to totally discredit him. Same for Gerson and Budwig. I've been curing myself of Advanced Prostate cancer for over a year, following Gerson and Budwig. Certainly Revici's method(s) would do so also, perhaps better, because they apparently rooted out the source and worked rather fast. My Doctor's are incredulous and tell me to keep doing whatever it is I'm doing. Seems they tell all people to do the same, who are curing themselves. Wonder if they teach them to say that in Med School? The book is well written and does not bash allopathic medicine. It is understandable by all, even though some of the tech talk may escape a few readers (including me). After reading this book, one will definitely have a much fuller view of medicine and their body. Perhaps more so than their doctor. There is no doubt that Revici's understandings and discoveries will have to be used in the future if humankind is to remain alive.If I come to the point where I need additional help, I will certainly go to the Revici Clinic [...]

Excellent book for anyone who is interested in knowing about alternatives to the current AMA paradigm when it comes to cancer treatment. There are things in this book that most people do not realize....such as the background of the American Cancer Society and its ties with the pharmaceutical industry, the reality of how the 'truth' is portrayed in the JAMA publication, how doctors who have pioneered alternative treatments for cancer and other diseases are edged out and maligned by the 'mainstream' medical complex. This book has been put together with extensive research that anyone who wants to verify can do so. Interesting reading for anyone who wants a deeper truth behind treating disease. One just has to dig beyond the mainstream media and all the propaganda to get to the bottom of it.
