Great solution for basements!
We live in the country and our basement plumbing is lower than our drain field. I had been using a simple sump pump to drain our washing machine and dehumidifier, but it was not very effective and loud. I ordered the Superior pump to replace it and it has definitely been an upgrade. It was really easy to assemble. I'm experienced with home renovations, so connecting the drain pipe was fairly easy. This pump is very quiet. I don't hear it at all when I am not in the basement. The check valve that was sent with it worried me a bit, since it looks kind of cheap compared to some others, but I have had no issues with at all and have not experienced any loud banging that some check valves sometimes do. The 1/2 horse motor has no issues pushing the water approximately 7' vertically to the drain pipe. The only thing I would caution, as probably with all pumps, is make sure you have adequate venting to pull air from. Our house is old, so there is no vent pipe to pull air from. This comes with a threaded hole on the top of the basin to hook up a pvc vent to the outside. I thought I could get away with an indoor Oatey Sure-Vent. Nope. You will need a real vent to the outside if you don't have one. This creates a lot of suction! Overall, the quality seems really good. No regrets on this purchase!

Amazing
The build quality is well worth the money. It’s functioned well as a sewer pump to remove waste from one bathroom to the proper pipes.

Professionally installed to Tiny home
Update on septic and how it is running...have been using it off and on for 5 months now and it is still flushing out water quickly through pump and line. I wouldn't recommend keeping it plugged in all the time if you're not using it everyday. Also make sure you spray for insects and ants around it if it is outside and the top is exposed to the elements. You definitely want to get the extra warranty on this. Other than that, so far so good.Got this to hook up to my tiny home and had it professionally installed and after it was good to fill up tank, you could here the pump working great pushing all the water through the pipes with no problemSo far I am pleased with it and it does the job it is supposed to do for a septic alternative. I would recommend it.

Works great BUT, You MUST anchor it down.
It Works great BUT, you must anchor it down before it rains. Instructions advise you to surround it with gravel, which will allow water to accumulate around it. This system weighs about 55lbs, but, it's volume will displace enough water to lift more than 200lbs. If will float out of the ground if you don't anchor it down. Mine floated up, pulling up the drain lines and allowing the gravel to then settle under the tank. (I had to remove basin and gravel). then reinstall...I put 8 concrete blocks on top of mine and it has been trouble-free since.. I recommend putting a studor valve on the vent pipe, to trap in the odor while allowing in the air required to empty the basin.
