Stumpwork Embroidery Designs and Projects (Milner Craft)

Lots of black and white pictures. This book continues it's projects based off an earlier publication, which one needs on hand to reference too. So as a beginer to the craft... I now have to go buy the earlier publication in order to complete this book. over all, I will be pleased with the book once I get all the ducks in a roll.

Very nice book for your embroidery library on stumpwork. Any of Jane Nicholas' books are a welcome addition for those interested in stumpwork.........from the beginner to the expert stiticher. There is something for everyone in her books.

Book came as described and was timely getting here. I am anxious to try some of the projects in this book and see how they come out!

Excellent companion to first book by Jane Nicholas. It came in great condition and promptly. If you are interested in a different kind of embroidery, or add dimension to what you already do, get this book.

Beautiful designs and instructions

I bought my copy on eBay. There are about ten pictures in it, so if you do any of the projects you have no idea what the final result is supposed to look like. Now I'm finding out that I should have bought some other book first. So don't buy this if you don't have the first book. Or apparently there is a reprint with both books in one...which the publisher should have done in the first place. I feel bad for the author.

Bought as a present for my wife. I understand from her that it will be very useful when she moves from her current embroidery work onto stump work.

A fairly good book but would be greatly improved if the colour pictures had been by the instructions. Would not recommend to a beginner.

Very good. Clear and precise instructions, diagrams and ideas for thread colours. Book suitable for beginners to this style of embroidery.
