Looks good!
I like light in my home but I live in the city so neighbors are close. I bought this for the lower portion of my bathroom windows. You will need the patience of a saint to do this but if you take your time you will have a successful outcome. If I could suggest anything it would be to measure carefully and cut it before hanging that way you don’t have to do any excess trimming. I used a square and drew my lines on the shiny side and cut them with a utility knife. A couple of drops of Dawn soap in a spray bottle and I was ready to go. It was a pain separating the backing and I found that using a plastic putty knife worked better than a squeegee to smooth out the air bubbles and I used a microfiber cloth to clean up the excess water. I did 3 bathroom windows (bottoms only) and I still have some left so I would say it was money well spent. I’ll post an update in 6 months on how it holds up.

Hard for me to seperate the backing.
The amount of material one gets for the price is great. A lot more than I expected. My problem is removing the sheet from the backing. I recommend a few extra inches in dimension to account for 'spoilage'. It is static cling so a very clean window surface is a must. And it sticks very well. I recommend starting with a corner, removing a small bit of the backing, and then slowly work your way sticking the material, pulling more backing as you go. This also begs for those few extra inches in dimension when cutting the need material as it allows for slight misalignment when using this method. The excess also allows for easier removal the the excess after trimming against the window frame.

Effective
This film works as a privacy that allows light in. I like that you attach it to the glass with water, meaning it will be very simple to remove. I took of one star because I wish the width was more inline with window widths and it’s a little difficult to cut the access once placed. I used a brand new sharp blade and it still skips a little and I had to go back. Those two things in mind, it’s still a good product.

Did the job!
We were dog watching for 2 weeks and found the dog always at the window looking and barking at wildlife that wandered by on the hill. We tried blocking the view and I looked to Amazon for another idea. Found this, ordered, and received a day later. After over 30 minutes trying to remove the backing on the film, my husband was able to adhere the film to the window. It was easy to attach and looked smooth on the window. It worked like we wanted and was also easy to remove. There should be a corner on the film where you can easily start to peel it away.

Happy Purchase
I applied the window film to my front door windows. As always, when attempting something I havent tried yet, I start out by reading and re-reading the directions. I also read all the reviews. Thank you for those those reviews.I started with the lower rectangle sections, I measured, and I had cut the sections too big.It was awkward for me to trim with the craft knife. So I discovered as I went, that I could put the film on the window with the sprayand then carefully score the window film along the edge of the window with the corner of the putty knife. Then I would pull the film off of the window, lay it on a towel covered chair, and then cut along the score line with sharp scissors. It did get sloppy with water on the floor from pulling the film off.I would lightly apply the soapy water spray again after trimming and then reapply the film. For covering the arched areas, I took wax paper and laid it over the window section and used a sharp pencil to trace along the edge of the window. I used this wax paper piece as a pattern to cut the film (see photo). You can easily move the film until you get it positioned.I went over each section multiple times using the plastic putty knife starting at the center, working the bubbles out to the edges. And then keeping the edges and corners dry with the clean rag. While cleaning up the project mess, I would go back and continue to dry the edges and corners and looked for spots that I had missed.I am happy with this purchase and I am going to use the leftover film to cover an arch window. The film blocks the heat and you cannot see into the house at all. And that was my biggest concern at night. As you see on this one photo that i took at night from the outside, all inside view is blocked. Yay!So again, this was a happy purchase and I plan to buy more of this film.
