some of these other reviews... ? there's no way to turn it off? YOU DONT WANT IT OFF! you only get 7 seconds to get out of the door? HOW LONG DO YOU WANT YOUR KID TO HAVE TO GET TO THE POOL? Its too loud? ITS AN ALARM TO A CHILD BEING IN A POSITION TO DROWN!I have two doors to the pool and they both have them. Ive had to replace each of them once in six years. Most importantly, my kids know not to go past the door and on to the patio. The one time my two year old did she made it 3 feet past the door and the alarm did its job. two years ago a 2 year old two houses down drowned. BUY AND USE THE ALARM

These alarms definitely do their job! I have not one but TWO locks on the door leading to the backyard and that wouldn’t stop my kids from opening the door. This alarm works better keeping my kids from going outside because they are scared of the sounds it makes. Also it’s very easy to hear these loud alarms the moment the door opens.

Works great

INstalled it, worked great for one day. Now the day of the city inspection, it stoped working. Better off spending more money and buying a better one.
