This is the most wonderful book. If you love the great outdoors and nature this is a must have. I keep it on my nightstand and read a few of the poems/verses when I need to unwind. It helps me forget the stresses of the day and takes my mind to wonderful places. I've bought several copies of this books to give to friends over the years. Bought the first one in a gift shop in Yosemite in 1994.

This compilation is fantastic. Just so in love with it. Would make a great gift or perfect for taking n the trail.

The Earth Speaks is one of the most influential books I have ever read. When I was younger I used to attend New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Summer Camp. At camp, we always used to read excerpts from The Earth Speaks, which made me buy it. The book is great and its very educational and influential. A must have for nature lovers, as well as people who want to make a difference in the world.

A truly beautiful book filled with the wisdom of many others who have come before and understood the poetic language of air, water, fire, and mother earth.

You can pick it up, open it to any page and find something uplifting and inspirational which will stand alone and can be read in under two minutes. You can go to it as often as you want and never be disappointed.

Thought it was out of print bur Amazon saves the day. Great collection of poems.

Excellent book - I really recommend getting this for anyone who loves the Earth and all the way she speaks! Written predominantly by men so it gives the healed masculines voice, which is a welcome addition.
