I replaced a faulty 4ft T12 2 light fixture with a magnetic ballast in the laundry room with this kit. I was going to change the entire fixture, but did not want to deal with all the popcorn ceiling mess. The wife was happy with the fixture just not the brightness of the fluorescent light bulbs. I did have an option to use LED tubes instead for free from my brother, but was in a hurry to get this done and went with this kit instead. I cut out the old ballast and left the light sockets in place in case I do decide later to use them again. I was able to put the LED driver in the center where the old ballast was located and hid all the wires with the original center cover. The install takes less than 10 minutes and the lumen output is much brighter than 2 34 watt fluorescent bulbs. I am satisfied with the results, but only time will tell how long the LED strips last, so this is why I am unsure of the value of the kit.

The magnets made the light kit very easy to install. Nice bright light. Being able to use the already mounted light box saves a lot of trouble trying to find the same size light box. I used my light kit for the ceiling light in our laundry room. Saved $$$ also.

Good light output. Very easy to install. Time will tell on the durability of these units. It was a quick replacement in a difficult location in my case.

Only downside was I ordered 4 and 3 were brighter than the 4 bulb florescent I replaced. Many lumens. The replacement lights (and the ballasts) stick magnetically to the metal pan used by most florescent lights. Wire nut the ballasts in, connect the power to the lights and done.

Worked perfectly in a 4’ fluorescent light fixture!!

2nd unit had all parts.

I used this product to replace florescent fixtures over my kitchen workspace. I found the electric lines feeding the florescent fixtures and disconnected the old fixtures (used multi meter to verify no electric current and cut the wires). The new LEDs were prewired, and wire nuts were provided to connect to the electric circuit used by the florescent fixtures. Once connected the LED "tubes" had magnets that stuck to the old florescent fixtures (tubes removed) job done. If you have basic tools and know how to use them it is a quick easy fix that saves electricity and gives a brighter whiter light.

Very bright and easy to install. One tube was bent a small bit in shipping, but it worked fine.
